I am a regular because I live very close..If I want fresh veggies and meat, I go kurkmans , but if I want to get something like soda or water, or milk, I go here..If you like a certain brand or flavor, they will order it for a regular..if I want to play keno now n then, I go there...If no one's around, I chitchat with owner or clerk..once in while, there can be a bad smell, but that's rare. Read moreHard to rate any convenience store as a must visit. This one is pretty ordinary. Drinks and snacks foods, fairly reasonable prices. They sell newspapers, lotto and tobacco, no alcohol. I stopped in recently just looking for bottled water and a coke. The can of coke was a buck. The place was quiet, but the clerk was friendly enough and the store was clean and decently lit. Read moreEasily the worst store in Brookline because of the newer owner. He's cheap and hasn't fixed his leaky roof in almost a decade, the store has signs of a mice problem as some items I have bought had nibble marks on them.
Any potato chips or food items close to the ground are questionable at best.
He has recently increased his prices to an actual crazy amount, he's trying to take advantage of the current inflation situation and since most people pay by SNAP he thinks he can get away with it.
