The paved path around this pond is about 1.6 miles in circumference and has only two minor hills. The circuit has exercise stations (including pull-up bar) and is popular with runners, walkers, and dogs (who must officially be leashed, but are frequently seen off leash when it is quiet). No bikes are allowed on the loop, but there is a bike path along Jamaicaway above the eastern bank. The pond is popular for fishing, picknicks, and hammocking. No swimming is allowed, though nobody will mind if you let your dog swim at the clean and sandy beach along the southern end. Ice skating is, unfortunately, forbidden. You can rent boats at the boathouse on the eastern end.
