I visited this O’Reilly location expecting the same customer service I’ve always received at other stores, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. When I arrived, there were two employees, and I approached the one behind the register. He was counting money, so I politely greeted him with a “Good morning” and said I’d like to make a purchase and an exchange.
I later learned that this employee was Alfonzo, the store manager. Instead of simply explaining that the register was closed and directing me to the other employee for assistance, he rudely told me, “Don’t you see me counting money?” and refused to help. His tone and attitude were unprofessional and unnecessary. I had no way of knowing that the register was closed, as both employees were standing near the same counter when I walked in. A simple “I’m counting money right now, but the other register can help you” would’ve sufficed.
The situation escalated when I expressed that his response was inappropriate, and Alfonzo began questioning whether I had ever worked in customer service. I tried to de-escalate by suggesting that if he was having a bad morning, it wasn’t right to take it out on customers. Despite this, he continued to argue.
Thankfully, the other employee stepped in, assisted me without issue, and even apologized for Alfonzo’s behavior. I asked for the store’s number, and the manager gave it to me with a snarky remark, saying, “Go ahead and write whatever you want…”
This was, by far, the worst experience I’ve had at any O’Reilly store, and I won’t be returning to this location unfortunately as I’ve been a loyal...

Read moreWent to go pick up a part for my husband and there was only one guy Sebastian working. I asked him if he was working alone and he stated the other guy was in the bathroom. I was waiting in line for 20 minutes before the other guy came out of the bathroom, no telling how long he was in there before I got there. When the other guy finally emerged out of the restroom he just stood around while Sebastian took care of the long line. I don't know what is wrong with that guy but I don't believe he needs his job.
