I’d give this place one star if the manager hadn’t been so friendly, and he obviously does try to provide good service, his wife however, is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met in my life. She swore at my co-worker because he had spilled oatmeal on the floor in the room, our room got flooded because of a pipe breaking on one of the floors above us and ALL of my clothes were completely soaked to the brim, this was at 6am, they couldn’t put us in another room until after 11, and I asked if they would be able to cover the costs of doing my laundry due to the pipe breaking, she was rude and dismissive but I insisted because I had just done laundry several days prior at the laundromat and most of my clothes were totally clean, she said she had to get approval, and then came to my room and gave me five dollars in quarters(not enough for multiple loads of laundry) So I tried doing laundry using their in-house machine, and after running the same load 3 times because the soap wasn’t dissolving I realized that the washer didn’t even spin and my clothes weren’t being cleaned, so I went and asked if they’d be able to give me the quarters again because the machine was broken, and she accused me of LYING about it, and refused to give me more quarters although they’re able to just go and pull the ones she already gave me out. I told her we pay good money to stay here(spent two weeks) and she said and I quote “really? You pay good money? I give you such a good rate” I asked if she spoke to all of their guests like this, and she said something in Hindi that I couldn’t understand. I then proceeded to go and spend 15 dollars to do all my laundry at the laundromat. Also, my card was charged $450 at 2 in the morning(days after we had checked in), thankfully my bank flagged it as fraud(it was, my company handles hotel expenses, and my card was only on file for incidentals) this was the same night the pipe burst so I went to the front desk at 6 am to ask to move rooms and brought up the attempted charge which wasn’t even the cost of our room for the week? The manager assured me that it was an accident, and he seemed sincere, but the way the woman became flustered was suspicious. The housekeepers do not know what a do not disturb sign means as well, multiple times were we woken up to housekeeping BANGING on the door repeatedly despite there being a do not disturb sign on the door all day every single day. I would’ve called Super 8 corporate if I didn’t empathize with the manager, who again, was incredibly helpful and friendly, his wife, or sister or cousin or whatever should not be allowed to interact with customers because she does not care at all about providing...
Read moreSuper 8 motel salary for verification but I think since Wyndham took over they have improved them significantly. I plan to make them my regular travel hotel locations. this location was very clean and safe which is all you can ask more. Staff was very friendly but they did have a few concerns that by themselves weren't all that much of an issue.
The free breakfast was a joke the only thing I could find to eat cuz I like what's up raspberry danish. They had hot waffles which I don't like and instant oatmeal. Coffee was a sample average but very weak. The hotel was reported on my phone as $54 when I got there I was told all the linkage on the computer was not available so everybody was charged and flat rate which was about $10 more than I expected. They also could not provide a discount for AARP or military or Wyndham owner.
My room was very clean and comfortable but there was no television in the room. Nope a notepad to write messages I know plastic bag for dirty laundry. I guess by design the walls we're very thin so I got to know my neighbors on both sides pretty well last night.
I know I'm being a little picky so please understand that overall it was a good night sleep at a very comfortable bed and I definitely will seek out other Wyndham...
Read moreWhen we arrived to our room there were dirty footprints in the batbtub, curtains had large stains, sheets had small stains, carpet needed to be vacuumed and there was mold on the nightstand. I informed front desk and they moved me to another room which was much cleaner but had a rag tied around the showerhead which I at first thought was something they missed when cleaning but realized it was put there to stop a leak. Also there is apparently trouble between the hotel manager and the place I ordered pizza from, had to meet the delivery person on the curb because he said they weren't aloud on the property and the person seemed super nervous to be there. I know their website said limited breakfast due to covid but they had cereal in a dispenser and apples. No drinks or even milk to go with the cereal. I get having a limited breakfast but still expected better than that. The main reason we got a hotel was for the kids to go swimming, after checking in I was informed the pool was closed for maintenance. None of the phones in either room to call the front desk worked. I was booked for 2 nights we only stayed 1. Will...
