Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Brookshire

If zero stars were possible I’d leave that many. I went to get a 3 piece meal and as I tried to get my drink I found out that they had no ice. No big deal, I ask the guy behind the counter and he got me the small bit they had left at the drive thru. Go back to drink machine and attempt to get Coke. It’s out. Back to the counter I go. They suggest I get another soft drink, but not Dr. P because that’s out too. I explain that I’m not a fan of the other options but would love it if they could just refund me for the meal and just give me the entree of 3 pieces of chicken instead. The young boy was flustered and went to speak to a coworker. I didn’t hear much, but they made a point to loudly call me a “Karen”. Not once did I raise my voice or speak unkindly. Never asked for a manager. Just didn’t want to pay $11 for a meal when there wasn’t a drink that I wanted. I don’t feel that I was unreasonable. Will never be back. Customer service is so awful...

Stopped by here on the way to Austin from Houston. The restaurant was clean for the most part, but the service was awful. We stood for awhile before being acknowledged and when we finally received service the cashier was less than interested. She couldnt even get through our order before talking to a co-worker. Which would be fine if she wasn't so unprofessional and disrespectful, she actually told her coworker to stop being a "Thot" right in front of us. Our order turned out wrong and we didn't get one of our biscuits. In the mean time another employee was just hanging out in the lobby talking to a friend before going back to the kitchen on an unofficial break. I hope they get a better manager there soon, so the restaurant won't loose money from the extra cups they throw away or the inconsistent sizing of food they give out. I stopped at the drive through today. I ordered 3 spicy strips meal with potatoes and gravy, and a large dr pepper. She handed me a regular size Dr pepper so I checked the ticket and she did not charge me for a large so I didn't complain. I sat at the window for 15 minutes. When she brought my food out I thought to myself atleast it will be fresh straps. I get the bag and it has dry potatoes no gravy so I hand it back and she swapped it. I leave the drive through. I go to open my Chicken strips and it's 2 wings and a thigh. I take it back in the building and she knows why I'm there so she hands me my box and takes the other back. I go to the truck and open my box super small straps that are not only COLD BUT REGULAR NO SPICY! I won't be stopping at this location for a while! Hopefully they have a...
