I am a disabled veteran 62 year old man I just left Burger King where I had an argument with the night manager name Teresa when I pulled up to the drive-thru window I ordered the $4 king size order the young man who took the order did not speak very good English and ask him what my options were he stated two cheeseburgers I said the Picture shows a chicken sandwich so I requested a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich with my order. When he asked me what I want to drink I asked him if I could substitute a small chocolate shake instead instead instead of the the Coca-Cola. He said sure no problem then when he gave me the total it was a dollar fifty more for the milkshake. I said you said that I could substitute you didn't say anything about additional charge. He then told me to drive around when I got to the window the manager was there and I seen her name Teresa she looked at me with a Blank Stare and ask me what I want. I said what I wanted to do was exchange the Coca-Cola for a small milkshake and I said her co-worker needs to to understand what substitute means or if there is an additional charge for the milkshake. She started to give me a hard time raising her voice being rude to me at one time she was going to close the window and not even serve me. I said just give me the Coca-Cola and forget it about the chocolate shake. I told her I was hungry and she said she didn't care like if she was going to refuse me a second time to take my order. I don't know what is happening to the people that are being hired at Burger King but it's a shame because I have been shopping there for over 50 years and people are more rude with no patience to even listen to the customer and try to provide customer service excellence. Read moreToday I made an online order, I went to go pick it up less than 5 minutes later as I live right around the corner. I get there about 15 mins before closing, they try to tell me they're closed, I tell them I already paid for my order online to which the person claiming to be a manager named luscera replied "sorry black people took it", i tell them it obviously wasn't me as I made the order 5 mins ago and left the house right after. she again just repeats that black people took my order. At this point I'm just in shock and say "ok well here's my receipt, can you make my order?" The person again replies that because some black people took it she won't make it again. I tell her again it wasn't me and if she won't make my order I want my money back, she also refused and then told me she would call the police? Not only were her comments racist but it's obvious she wanted to close the store early and just never made my order. I didn't get my food or a refund. This person should not work at this store anymore and I will reach out to corporate as well. To do all this rather then just give the food or refund like any normal food place with decent customer service, is just insane. To want to close 15 minutes early so badly, that your employee says they won't give a refund because they gave my food away without checking the name is just beyond awful service and lazy. What other place tells you sorry we accidentally gave your stuff to someone else, refuses to refund said stuff after their own mistake, and then blames it on "black people"? We were told we training someone. The assistant manager came to the window and said “do u still want Your food” she was very rude. When we got home the burger was not cooked the patty meat was red. My husband went back up there and they where even ruder than before. This new assistant manager is HORRIBLE and she needs to be fired!!
