I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and the women who helped us through the whole process, Khristy and Nancy.
My fiancĂ© and I were recently engaged, and we were in search of a jeweler who could customize a moissanite engagement ring for me. All other corporate chain jewelers stuck their nose up at me as soon as I mentioned moissanite; started questioning why I wasnât in the market for a diamond, tried to convince me moissanite wasnât worth it, and even tried to get me to settle for white sapphire instead (which to me looks incredibly cloudy and lacked luminescence on all levels. So SO happy I didnât settle.)
We came into jewel fire after having seen a ring setting on their website that perfectly matched the setting of the original ring my fiancĂ© proposed with (it was a placeholder made from CZ, he didnât want to get me the wrong size or buy something I didnât like before we got a chance to build the real ring together.)
We went in one night and Khristy and Nancy stayed while we custom built my ring through their website, discussing options and pricing. They even stayed a bit after their closing time to help us out. The ring setting was a perfect match for the placeholder (which will now serve as my travel ring so Iâm stoked they were able to match the ring design) and we went for a gorgeous triple stone ring with a 10x7 pear moissanite center stone, and went with lab diamond accents on a platinum band. The ring is absolutely gorgeous and I can say I really am impressed with the moissanite and itâs light refraction. For any of those trying to decide between lab diamonds or moissanite; know you can likely get either within a reasonable price range depending on how big your stone is or what setting / metal quality you chose. Moissanite refracts twice as much as a diamond, so it is sparklier, which is exactly what I love about it! The rainbows are incredible; and it quite literally looks like Jewel FIRE!! đ
After having my ring for about a month I went in to look at possible wedding bands to complete my wedding set, but was having doubts about my ring decision, trying to envision what my whole wedding set would look like. Even though I love my ring, I was having second thoughts about the way I chose to have it made (my fiancĂ© let me have full say over it, so I only second guessed myself because I made the final decisions. I get really doubtful over my choices when it comes to such big decisions, like a forever ring. I asked myself; what if I went with a different setting? Smaller center stone? Etc. happens to us all) but Khristy bless her heart she reassured me in my decision making and really helped me envision what my completed wedding set can look like! I was worried it wouldnât work out because of how large of a center stone I chose, but she found a stackable band that will fit perfectly, and even told me they can completely customize the wedding band to fully encapsulate and bring out that beautiful center moissanite. I have so much joy knowing my ring and final wedding set is in the care of such kind and attentive jewelers. I cannot WAIT to have them build my wedding band for me and to purchase my fiancĂ©s wedding band through them as well.
10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for custom jewelry or for jewelers who actually listen to the customer instead of pushing corporate ideals for the sake of profit.
Much love to you Khristy and Nancy!! Canât wait to come in soon and build these wedding bands.

Read moreMy now husband went to this business to design my future engagement ring. He said the design was very difficult to get right even having pictures and videos of a ring I was absolutely in love with from a larger company.
I also went to them to design my wedding band being unaware of him having had any issues. I found a ring in their case I liked and simply asked for a customized version with a few less diamonds so it would match my engagement ring better. Walked out having paid over 2k for a pretty simple wedding band but confident it would match because it was the same company and the ring already matched pretty well.
This is where the problems started. They called when my ring came in and my heart dropped when I saw it. The band I chose comes up to a point in the middle and the ring they made for me was much chunkier then the show room version, the point also came up MUCH higher then the show room version. I expressed my issue and we had to go find the original before the sales people took my concerns seriously, thank God it was still in their case otherwise I would have been stuck there. They asked for a chance to make it right and I agreed because mistakes happen. The ring was reordered and I left.
When I went to pick up the ring after being remade it was a little better but absolutely not right. They had fixed the OBVIOUS design and size issue but the ring presented to me was still much thicker then the delicate show room ring. I pointed this out and the manager told me that that is because the show ring was a different metal and they infact could not accurately match their own ring when ordered in gold because of the properties of the metal. I find it wild that a custom jewelry store would say this. I argued that they absolutely should be able to match their own freaking ring and the woman I believe to be the manager became frustrated and said "we've already ordered this for you twice I'm not sure what you want me to do". Um??? Make a ring that matches the one I ordered or refund my money!!! It was made clear that they would not be allowing a refund and I was stuck.
The jeweler ended up coming out and agreed to shave down the metal on both sides to match what they had on their sales floor. I gave two stars only because I did eventually end up with a ring I love but I had to fight tooth and nail to get it. For a custom jewelry store they were very unwilling to fix design issues once they had a price in hand unless I could PROVE this was a problem on their end. I hesitated to write this review but I can't honestly see myself going back after this experience. If you use this company please make sure you document your request and take pictures if you are going to order something they stock. Also they continue to charge for rhodium plating for this ring so there is no benefit to continuing my relationship with this company(this is commonly free when you purchase from other...
Read moreUpdate: About 2 days after posting my original review the wonderful woman who was helping me originally (who I found out is also the store manager, Khristy) called me to apologise. She said it was unacceptable how my ring left looking and it doesn't reflect their typical work. She offered to fix it for free as well as replace another diamond I lost for free. I decided to give them another try and I was not disappointed. They not only fixed what was wrong but they also tightened up all of my other prongs and refunded my money from the original fix. My 11 year old ring looks like new again and you can barely tell where it lost a diamond in the first place. I'm truly grateful.
Original review: I recently brought a ring in I've had for over 10 years that had lost a small diamond. Initially I couldn't afford the price to fix it but the wonderful woman who was helping me worked with me to do it for a price I could afford. She is the only reason I'm giving 3 stars, I would go lower but my conscience won't let me because of her great customer service. I honestly feel like they butchered my ring where the diamond was lost. It completely lost all small details where they repaired it. After taking it to another jeweler to be looked at they informed me that they used entirely too much metal to fix it and the details could have been kept if they had put any effort into it. I'm not happy at all but I would rather take it somewhere else to fix it instead of giving them another chance. This ring holds significant meaning to me and it kills me that it looks...
