For those who remember The Raven from Northampton, no introduction needed except that the location and space are much lovelier. This version is in an old mill building retro-fitted with a spacious layout and new displays (shelving, tables). It is light, airy and easy to move around. The collection is tighter and better curated with a combination of backlist classics, new titles, and the unusual. Just came here for the first time since they moved to this location, and it's great. Big comfortable space to browse an excellent and well-displayed collection of used books, very friendly staff, and space to sit and have a coffee, too. A little sad not to have Raven within walking distance like it used to be, but this spot is absolutely worth the drive, and the whole region is becoming a haven for book enthusiasts with many great bookshops...

Fantastic addition to Shelburne Falls. The owner, John, is delightful. The selection of books is amazing, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The space itself is bright, airy, and aesthetically pleasing, with comfortable lounging chairs and gorgeous custom-made book shelving units.
