O'Connell's Clothing — Local services in Buffalo

O'Connell's also has women's clothing. As with the men's selections, a lot of it falls into the preppy category, but it also extends well beyond that to quite unusual and really exquisite jackets and sweaters. Their selections are expensive but when you wear something you've bought there, you get your money's worth. I'm not generally a very clothes-conscious person, but when I wear something from O'Connell's, I actually do feel well-dressed and self-confident in my appearance. I might be a bit hesistant about buying on-line from them, though, because my current wardrobe includes items from O'Connell's in sizes from ranging from XS to L. However, knowing what excellent service I've gotten when I shop there in person, I'll bet that they'd be able to advise a potential customer on sizing issues before purchase.

I ordered a burgundy belt from this store. When the belt arrived, it wasn’t just a shade off from the picture description, it was a totally different color than advertised. The belt I received was a very dark shade of brown, darn near black. The excuse they gave was that the brown could over power the red!!! Seriously!?!?

Not only that, the belt is advertised as if it was a product made by/for their company, but is actually a belt made by “Martin Dingman.” I could have crossed reference the color if that information was given.

They did refund me for the belt but not for the shipping. I paid for delivery and I had to pay for return shipping. That is not good customer service, especially when the fault does not lie with customer. I will never do business with this company again for this misrepresentation and not making good for it on their end.

Great place with a wide selection of nice, classic clothing. I was out shopping for suits and discovered this place on Google Maps, I was not disappointed. It's a nice size store with a large selection, it's a bit messy, atleast in the back, but I later found out it seems they do most of their business online, and I never actually walked into the store front as I entered through the rear doorway. The only reason for that mess was their large selection, which is a positive. I asked for a three piece suit and was pleasantly surprised to find several suits exactly in the style I was looking for, very classic designs and materials. The tailoring was excellent.
