The Lofts at Elk Terminal — Local services in Buffalo

I could not give enough positive feedback regarding my experience Elk Terminal Lofts. I moved into a studio loft in September 2019. I then moved into a two bedroom on the other side of the building in July 2020. I just renewed my lease . I love love love being down here. If there’s something to be fixed, it’s taken care of ASAP. They do a fantastic job with maintenance. The people that live around me are friendly, respectful, and diverse. It’s a welcoming place to live. First Amherst is a professional company to rent from. I’ve never had an issue. I could not say enough about the neighbor, being near the Key Bank center, Riverfest Park, Riverworks, and Canalside. It’s fantastic to have my own parking spot. My friends love to visit me here. I’ve never once had an issue walking around the neighborhood. I feel very safe here. If you want a up-to-date and well taken care of apartment near a lot of fun places downtown where is safe, I highly recommend Elk Terminal Lofts. Whenever I see people come by to check out one of the Lofts for rents, I will go out of my way to encourage them...

This apartment is right across the street from the projects which isn't good for optics but seemed to be fairly safe. The gate is broken often. The HVAC system is old and will run all night which will equal higher electric bill. The lights outside of your unit will keep you awake because there are no real walls to keep out the light in the bedroom. If you move out before the end of your lease (I mean even days) they will continue to charge you for the utilities...on a unit you no longer have access to...and take it out of your deposit. Speaking of l deposit, you'll have to nearly beg for your deposit back. Place is fairly safe and centrally located but could be maintained better and run more...

I lived at Elk Terminal for a year after relocating to Buffalo for work. I had a great experience living here and would recommend to any of my friends and colleagues. My unit was very clean, well updated and I never had any issues. When I needed to get a hold of them, First Amherst was great about getting back to me and following up with anything I needed. I also loved the location and proximity to Canalside and sporting venues. If I hadn’t purchased a home, I would still be living at...
