I will start by saying that I am a frequent customer to the pawn plus in fort Mohave and I have spent thousands there in the past 6 months , I brought in 2 guns and was blown off by the gentleman at the counter and when they acknowledged me the first thing they did was take my guns and put them in the corner behind the counter no "hello, welcome or Evan what kinda gun you bringing in?!"and Rachel was called to look at the firearms , she looked over the first firearm and told me she would pass on it since it was "broken" becuase she said it was to short , when I contested she began to point at the muzzle saying "look!,look!" She asked me if I bought it new or used , this being a model 1891 Mauser Argentino Im pretty sure is used unless me and mister Peabody jumped in my Delorean and headed back to the late 1800's to get it , the second gun she looked at she was asking questions as if I STOLE the guns and i have never felt more accused of being a criminal than I did at this branch , I told her I'm done dealing with you give me my guns and I left , I then went to the fort Mohave store and was given top dollar for my Mauser witch was identified as being 95% condition , and parted with the second firearm with NO grief to me , I will never set foot in the BHC pawn plus again unless I recieve a formal letter of resignation from the manager Rachel and new manager is in place there she has no buissness dealing with the public especially when she discriminates people just for their age , that Being said the fort Mohave store and their team are amazing and go out of their way to help me , and to give the most comfortable and welcoming environment that I have EVER FELT in a PAWNshop and I will continue to patronize there buissness for many many...
Read moreI walked into the Pawn Shop ready to negotiate a fair price, 60 percent of the items' selling value were I not to repay the loan. The items for pawn were an HP2000 laptop in good condition and a brand new, unopened SAMSUNG WB350F Smart Camera. I had purchased the camera the day before at Sam's Club. It was on sale for $175, before tax.
Pawn Plus was selling a used HP2000 laptop online for $231 the same day I inquired about a loan. The condition of that computer was identical to mine.
After checking the merchandise, the sales associate offered me $20 for the camera and $40 for the computer. The associate claimed that, although unopened, the camera must be designated as "used" because I was not the original merchant. Since he found an identical camera "used" online for $80, he reasoned my camera was worth no more than $80 and he refused to give me any more than 25 percent of that $80 selling point.
The price he offered for the computer was less than 20 percent of Pawn Plus' online asking price for an identical computer on Amazon. His reasoning? The letters were a bit faded on the keys and the computer was a tad too slow for his liking.
I promptly walked out with my merchandise and assured him I would never return.

Read moreI cannot express how disappointing my experience was. My initial experience was great, I went in and bought a laptop and left happy. They have a 24 hour return period, so I took the computer home but was not happy with the speed of the laptop. I took it back and decided to get one that was nearly triple the price of the first one but had much better specifications. I put it on layway and the store manager told the employee to split the layway cost with me but he still charged me the full layway fee. I was able to pay it off a few days later and took it home and tried to plug it in and start playing with it. I had the wrong powercord. I called and went back the next day. I requested they extend the return period by one more day because I wasn't able to test it before hand. They had a negative attitude toward me the moment I called them to ask them to look for the right cord. They refused to give me another day and said you have till 6 tonight. But it was after 4pm. When I plugged it in it didn't charge so I took it back and after the attitude they displayed earlier I chose not to pick a different one out. They wouldn't refund the layway fee.
