Maki Sushi — Restaurant in Bullhead City

We dined in and sat at the sushi bar last night (Tuesday June 5th about 5-6pm). The couple next to us was clearly having a bad time bc of the waitress being rude to the wife for absolutely no reason and clearly flirting with her husband in front of everyone. I really feel for the couple bc the husband was trying to not engage with the waitress but the waitress kept getting inbetween the couple by either interrupting their conversation or being too touchy with the husband. She was also serving the couple by putting her arm in between them to set a plate down or a drink. The place was not too busy and where the couple was sitting you could easily come in from the side to set a plate down or a drink. The putting the arm in the middle of them was uncalled for. It was very showy and even I, as an outsider looking in could see how UNCOMFORTABLE the waitress was making this couple. I also noticed that the waitress (a hot mess of a woman, green hair, blue contacts, purple clothes, unhealthy body.. not dressed appropriately for the job) was not giving this “special” treatment to any of the other men in the restaurant. I gave the restaurant 1 STAR FOR HIRING BULLIES FOR WAITRESSES!! KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON THE PEOPLE YOU HIRE!! AND DONT LET THEM TREAT CUSTOMERS POORLY!! The waitress is at fault here too and she needs to learn some PROPER WAITRESSING ETIQUETTE along with some COMMON COURTESY and RESPECT!! I hope the wife makes a complaint on her!!! At the end of it all the wife kept her composure and handled all the GROPING of HER HUSBAND, the DISRESPECT and PUT DOWNS this waitress threw at her in a very lady like manner. She and her husband still tried to have a good time dispite this waitresses bad manners. When the couple went to pay of course the WAITRESS WAS ACTING A COMPLETE ASS still trying to laugh, smile and flirt with the womans husband.. I couldn’t hear what was said but you could tell the waitress said something to the wife to make her upset. The wife said nothing back.. she just dropped her head and shook it in disappointment. The couple walked out and I seen the husband kiss his wife to try and make her feel better. They looked like a really loving couple. I was there with my husband and she DID NOT do any of these bad mannerisms to us or any other couple in the restaurant. So clearly, this WAITRESS HAS a CRUSH on THAT WOMAN’S HUSBAND. Very UNPROFESSIONAL and very sad to see a IMMATURE MONSTER try to break up a happy couple. Zero stars for the BULLY WAITRESS with the green hair. Get a life...

If I could give this a negative rating I would give it a -4 stars. We ordered over the phone and we were told that it would be ready in 40 minutes, I had to stop by the store first so we ended up getting there at about the 53 minute mark and they hadn’t even started on our order.

The waitress said it should only be a few minutes and she would bring it out when the order was ready so we sat waiting in the parking lot for 20-25 minutes and she still hadn’t come out. I went back in at that point and she said it would probably be another 20 minutes so I told her we would come back .

We returned 30 minutes later and our order was still not even remotely close to being ready and she had no idea how long it would be. What really burns me is the “chef” had plenty of time to come outside and smoke right in front of us as we sat waiting in our car (118 degrees out) and they also had our phone number and they should have called us and let us know that it was going to be an hour, two hours or however long the updated time was.

I then told them that I couldn’t wait around any longer as I had things in the car and it was just too hot to be sitting around waiting on them for an order that I should have already ate not still waiting for. There was no attempt to appease me as the customer. If they had said here’s a gift card for the inconvenience or something I may have wrote this off as a foul up but no one but the waitress seemed to care that they had a customer who spent over a hundred dollars baking in the heat waiting on the tv watching cigarette smoking sushi chef. We will NEVER return to this sushi restaurant. As they say there are plenty more raw fish in The Valley, dont waste your time...

My first time in this place, I order jalapeño bomb and a crunchy roll, so I got the Jalapeño nd it was bomb, now my crunchy roll wasn't a crunchy roll it was a california roll, I told the lady/owner that I do ot like California Rolls and that it was not what I order, because a crunchy roll and a california roll are very different so I told her that it wasnt what I wanted or order, she said ; I will not comp it, well I never asked to be comp.II just wanted the roll I order because I did not eat the california roll I have never liked them never will, but she just told that she will not comp, I belive that she is racist and I really dont get why🤣 🤣 I also got the garlic edamame it was just steamed ademame with salt on top.. I asked her if she had a sauce that I can pour on top she said I will take it and grabbed the plate and took it back 🤣 awfully rude then moved to the next table which it was only Caucasians well she was extremly kind and good 🤣 it made me so mad maybe a Sing is needed where it says we dont treat minorities the same THANK YOU, AND AFTER I READ MANY BAD REVIEWS I SAW THAT THIS has HAPPENED OFTEN WITH The OWNER and This message is for you, LADY I DID NOT WANTED FREE FOOD THANK GOD WE HAVE MONEY TO PAY FOR OUR FOOD AND WHAT I DID WANT WAS MY CRUNCHY ROLL INSTEAD OF YOU TELLING ME THAT YOU HEARD ME SAID CALIFORNIA ROLL NOT A CRUNCHY ROLL, I DONT THINK THAT YOU SHOULD GET CONFUSED WITH A CRUNCHYYYY ROLL TO A CALIFORNIAAA ROLL, BUT INSTEAD OF MAKING IT RIGHT, YOU ASSUMED THAT I WANTED FOR FREE🤣 WHAT A JOKE HONESTLY,.SHAME ON YOU LADY, I BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE ON...
