I want to give a HUUUGE shoutout to Lisa and Dain over at Hotrod Cameras. Not only are they extremely personable, I always felt that they had my best interests at heart. I deal a lot with the top dogs in our industry... (Adorama, BH, Film-Tools, CVP etc.) and Hotrod Cameras is one of my favorite. I needed a part that was out of stock everywhere due to the recent silicon shortage and current lockdown in China. Before ordering, I wanted to make sure they had it in stock.

Want to talk about no wait lines on the phone and talking with someone directly? They got you covered. They are extremely honest and cheerful about helping out. Sometimes I had to call back with more questions and NOT ONCE did they make me feel like a nuisance. I asked for a custom rate for the part I needed to get here by Saturday (in the middle of 2 day and overnight shipping, depending on when it would be picked up) and they found a solution for me at a great price.

Overall I will definitely be giving them more of my business and I consider the environment there more as a friendship than anything else. Great people over there. I have no idea what Scott is saying in his review, but as far as the customer service they were extremely happy and upfront about the whole process, even down to including a floor model they had and all the details about it....

I ordered a Think Tank bag as they were the only people to have claimed to have this bag in stock. Unfortunately, they did not have the bag in right away but Steve was super transparent about the entire process with me and let me know immediately. He kept me updated as to when it should arrive in their stores, which was only a week after I initially placed the order. He got me the shipping number as soon as it he shipped it across the country to me. I really appreciate Steve's constant communication and full honesty throughout the entire situation. My bag arrived a few days after he shipped it to me and I couldn't be happier. Definitely going to keep shopping here...

I recently rigged out my RED Komodo at Hot Rod Cameras and I had a great experience. Nathaniel and Dane were extremely helpful and gave great advice on what items to get. I put together a gimbal setup. I bought the Tilta basic ring as well as a controller, nano gold mount batteries and a plate that ended up being the perfect setup for me. I went in not knowing what I would need to get and I left a happy customer. I even had problems with one of the hardware pieces and Nathaniel made sure that the parts were exchanged and everything worked perfectly...
