Aug 2024 We realized the last time we were here was 7 years since we were here last. We ordered and were served with bread with olice oil and balsamic. The bread was good. Our Italian Salad was also good. Diced into smaller pieces, which is how I like it.
The Mushroom Pizza was also done perfectly. Crispy crust and good earthy mushroom flavor. The Chicken Picatta was tasty, seasoned just right. I just wish it was breaded chicken. It tasted great, but looked like boiled chicken.
Finally the Tiramisu was also wonderful. It was probably our favorite dish of the meal.
The staff were attentive and helpful. Overall, it was a decent experience.
2017: Great service and enjoyable pizza. The chicken marsala was good, the chicken was perfect. However the sauce could have used some more wine. The calamari was also good, though the batter was a bit heavy. Really good was the marinara sauce! The best thing was the tiramisu. Be...
Read moreThis was by far the best Italian food my father and I have had in years. The waitress was on her A-game, as she was the only one working, but never missed a beat. Everything my father and I ate had a perfect balance of flavors. The bruschetta was delicious, and I appreciate the fact that you add the tomatoes to the bread yourself. The zuppa di clams was perfectly blended when it came to flavors and the clam was cooked really well. The gnocchi pesto was absolutely delicious, it was perfectly chewy and the pesto was to die for. The lasagna that my dad ordered was the best lasagna that I've ever had. I'm usually not a fan of ricotta, but the ricotta in the lasagna was delicious. The ragu was really good, and sausage was really tasty. The only downside of the meal was the bread that was brought at the beginning, it was a bit tough. Other than that, the entire dining experience here was fabulous! I...
Read moreDisturbed. The food tasted good for the most part, but there were several things that were problematic, which started with the host forgetting to bring us our drink order. Then the marsala was not cooked long enough to burn off the alcohol and the pesto was made with toxic pine nuts. Now my wife is dealing with pine mouth syndrome.
Additionally, I used their restroom and there is a dilapidated open attic entrance above the toilet where they are storing kitchen supplies. The toilet seat was warped and scuffed up, clearly because they would frequently stand on it to reach the pans and containers up there.
Lastly, the place’s ambience and signage should have been a red flag from the get-go. An old Vinyl banner for their store front? TV’s playing sports? I could go on, but all in all, I can not recommend Isabellas, and I will be taking my future business to...
