Honestly for the price you can go absolutely anywhere to get services like this. I booked a mani & pedi for me & my mother in law who is visiting from Europe as a last treat before I give birth next week. We were rushed to hurry up & pick colors and then upon being seated for pedicures 2 more techs walk up and start doing our nails right away while the pedicures have just begun. Apparently itâs their policy when you book two services to do them concurrently. I think this is abhorrent practice and not relaxing at all. I asked when booking for pedi first then mani which the receptionist claimed to be shocked about, after a very cringe worthy interaction between me and the staff they did âaccommodateâ us. The extras I paid for with pedicure were not worth it. We were not offered the drink that was included in the package. And the pedi massage which was to be 15 minutes included the time it took her to unwrap my towels and remove my paraffin - and was done with plastic gloves on and very minimal lotion, rubbing or pressure. It was awkward & bad.
Nail techs were both very sweet and kind. No complaints about the techs per se (Although whoever did my pedi Iâve had way better)
I see the next day however I already have a chip forming on one thumb. So much for this lasting.
It was $230 for two many pedi + $40 tipâŚ. $270! This is on par for LA but expensive and totally not worth it. For this kind of money, then expecting youâll be in & out in an hour for two services for sub par or average work is pretty ghastly. Again nothing against the nail techs who were pretty nice overall but due to the level of work the price and the front desk staffing issues I wouldnât...
Read moreWhere do I even begin... I feel the need the to have to leave to review to warn others before coming here. I book a gel maniure at this salon on my Birthday. The maniure was ok and the nail techniwaSan Jasmine seemed pleasant, however 3 days later, I notice my gel polish was chipping off. I called the salon and explained what had happened and was booked an appointment for a redue., and was never told there was another charge. The morning of my appointment, I was taken back to the same technician Jasmine, who was far from being pleasant.. After she remove my gel polish, she preceded to have the receptionist tell me that it would be an additional charge for polish. I stated this is a joke no one told me about that prior to coming and I refuse To be extorted by them for a redue. That crazy women Jasmine turned into the EXORCIST and was verbally assulting me, refused to do my nails, and walked away. I recorded the whole thing and will forward to the proper channels including the Board of Cosmetology, and also they will be informed that I did not see the license of the nail technician posted in plain sight. VIOLATION. Maybe they need a reminder of how business was during. COVID 19 when they were forced to shut down for awhile. REMEMBER REVIEWD ARE EVERYTHING. In case you reply with we have no record of you....
Read moreI have always enjoyed going to this salon and appreciated the service, but unfortunately, my latest visit has left me quite disappointed. I decided to treat myself with the cat eye gel polish, which I was told would cost an extra $10 on top of the gel pedicure. However, when I asked about the service, it felt like they werenât transparent about their ability to deliver it; they just assured me they could do it.
To add to my frustration, I requested a specific nail shape, but they completely disregarded my request and did what they thought looked best. Additionally, they didn't properly care for my feet during the pedicure, which was disheartening.
I paid over $70 and left feeling unsatisfied and let down. I hope they can improve their communication and service because I really wanted to love...
