I was a recent client here for 8 weeks to have AcuFacial treatments done with Virginia. After two telephone consultations Virginia recommended one full price treatment to determine if I would achieve noticeable results (considering my age, sun damage, lines and laxity). At that time I was tole my skin responded well, I would see noticeable results and was encouraged to purchase the 6 session package for $695. In addition, I purchased one additional treatment that I was given at the package price. After three bi weekly treatments, I noticed minimal results which dissipated by the 4th treatment. From that treatment on I discussed with Virginia my concern about the effectiveness of the treatments . We took before and after pictures throughout the 8 weeks which confirmed little to no change in my skin. These treatments include full body acupuncture and to be fair Virginia is a good acupuncture practitioner. However, I did not go to this salon or to Virginia for acupuncture. I purchased this package to decrease facial lines and laxity in the skin caused by moderate sun damage and hormonal changes that have occurred over my 55 years. At the end of the 8 week treatment and at a cost of over $1000 I requested a partial refund in order to fairly compensate myself for the lack of results, money spent and time invested and her for the time she spent in treatment. After discussing this with the Salon Owner, I was advised that not only would I need to address this issue with Virginia directly but, "If anything worked that well I would have a line going out the door". Virginia contacted me and advised me the Salon Owner would not stand behind her services at which time I was offered a $100(courtesy) refund . I communicated to Virginia I felt this was an insult and that I would accept $300 to which I have received no reply to date. I drove 1 1/2 hours each way twice a week. Two of the 8 visits were scheduled without Virginia being notified resulting in one being canceled as I was heading out the door, and the other catching her leaving for lunch at the time of my appointment. She received her massage and me well my facial was more than what I have received from past facials. Claire glided through my face neck and upper shoulders taking me into a space I felt removed, refresh and replenished. Oh should we make this weekly is my thought... And then it was time to be put in a state of ecstacy, rub my body massage my being into silk, rayon, nothingness, restore me into a state inwhich I know you have infused me, lending the true relief to be the shower in the eve or morn to really clinch my experience. Read moreI have been there twice and i feel like the service various drastically. First time was good but the second time they were very inhospitable. It was also a huge hassle to pay; the girl at the front desk charged me incorrectly multiple times. Not only that apparently the machine use to charge became disconnected and she wanted me to wait for her to call to reinstall it. I ended up paying in cash; she returned less change then I expected. I asked about why and she had taken the tip out with out confirming the amount after all the hassle. Not that I needed it but I would expect a discount or a coupon for a following treatment.
