Terrible place! Pay whatever to get what you desire don’t pay for half a service. The owner is so disrespectful and wants to boss you around, like woman I’m paying YOU to do my hair not the other way around! They asked for extra $20 to wash my hair and they barely washed me, left the conditioner and shampoo halfway rinsed. The owner went to go get conditioner midway and we had to wait for her to get back as I sat there wet and freezing. After she brought it, she told me to comb my hair cause she was tired apparently, that was when I knew the shampoo and conditioner was still in my hair. On top of that she had a ready bad cold, if you sick stay home don’t make others pay you to get sick. She was using this weird stuff on my hair, I tried to ask what it was she mumbled and kept using it even when I told her I didn’t want it. She said she can’t braid without it. She simply went out of the style I requested for cause she forgot to do it the way I wanted to, she was talking nonstop I couldn’t even get her attention, when I finally did she was so aggressive and said it can’t happen for whatever reason. Like bro don’t open a salon and provide half a service. Do all thats required for the money you receiving. And her kids man they were just going crazy in the salon like I don’t know, never have I seen a salon that’s so not professional for the money they asking for and also that wants to run you the way they want to. Fix your salon, your attitude, and rethink about how to run the business cause right now you pushing...

honestly, as someone with high standards, jamela is the most skilled braider i’ve experienced in the seattle area. i got small twists with human hair added and she delivered, especially since i got this style after a recent big chop. her grip game is great - not too tight - and my ends are tucked nicely.

however, it definitely took much longer than it should’ve due to the various interruptions. it would’ve taken a fraction of the time had she been able to just focus on my hair but she often had to assist with other clients, despite the fact that there were other braiders in the salon. it’s like she was the only one who could get the job done. nonetheless, her skillset is definitely worth returning and recommending.

she’s also very kind & was flexible on the price because of the situation and the fact i had an appointment and experienced many delays with completing the style.

the salon is relaxed. family vibes. easy to access and in a well populated area.

I got my hair done at this hair salon, and it was one of my best experience so far. They are really great people and quite talented. I like the way they took the time to braid my hair perfectly the way I wanted. I really love 😍 the small knotless braids because it was parted perfectly and braided smoothly and neatly✨️ One person was braiding and another one finishing the ends which made it get done fast. They were really gentle with my head. I love this salon for the great job they do and the costumer service provided.
