Service: 2-3 stars. Food: 3-4 stars. Overall: "okay, but definite room for improvement. Will be going back again for sure."
I stopped in about 10 PM on a Monday night. I greeted the guy behind the counter but he didn't respond. I looked directly at him and greeted him again and did not get a response. As it turns out, he didn't speak any English at all, and had literally zero comprehension of the language. A manager came out from the back room though and took my order: 1 extra large (16-inch) American, 1 extra large Indian Style, 1 full order of pesto cheesy bread. The total was about $57.00.
They said it would take about 20 minutes for them to prepare my order. When picking up my order, the guy handing it to me was the non-English speaker. He opened each pizza box to toss in some crushed pepper and cheese packets, but didn't open the boxes toward me, so I couldn't see the pizzas. He looked confused when I opened the boxes at the counter to review the order and when I opened each one he said the name of it in a sort of broken English. The two pizzas looked really quite good and I closed the boxes and asked about my pesto bread. The guy didn't respond. I then just said "pesto bread" as plainly and clearly as I could, thinking he had to know the menu at least a little bit, but I might as well have been talking to a wall. Fortunately, a couple more guys came in from the back and straightened it out with the manager that took my order, but I had to wait an extra ten minutes while they made the pesto cheesy bread.
I took the pizzas home to my housemates and we all thought they were very good. The Indian Style one had some definite spicy kick to it, and the tandoori chicken on it was delicious. Of the two pizzas, I think that one was the bigger favorite in our group. I'm glad I waited for the pesto cheesy bread, too, because it also was quite tasty. The American pizza is a pineapple, bacon, tomato, and onion pizza, a sort-of "Hawaiian style"--we liked that one too.
The service could use some real improvement but the food was good and the delay on the order didn't impact my schedule. I'll be giving them...
Read moreOh my goodness. Worst delievry experience in my life. Let me start by saying that i have order from pizza palace in burien like 3 times in the last month and each time i went to pick up the order, but today i decided to have it delivered. I place my order around 645. Finally it was delivered close to 735 , luke warm. The driver just handed me the pizza and turned and walked away. No how are you doing-have a greay evening.. Nothing.. He walks away, i realize i did not receive my soda that i paid for, so i said hey what about the soda, he mumbled something (the first word of the encounter) then stood at his car on his phone then got in and left. So i called pizza palace immediately, i was told this couldn't be because the driver was an experienced driver for 4 years..which how does that justify him being so rude. I was then told that he will talk to him and then was hung up on.. Nearly an hour later i hear a knock at my door with the same delivery driver holding my soda. I open the door and he hands me the soda and walks away.. Again not saying anything.. I have never in my life have been treated with such disrespect. This place will no longer receive another dime from me and hopefully not from others as well. You cannot go around treating paying customers so bad and expect loyalty. I am not even a person who writes reviews in the 1st place but this one i could not let go. I will also be reaching out to the...
Read morePizza Palace's Veggie Paneer Pizza is a delightful blend of flavors and textures that left me thoroughly satisfied. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, providing the ideal foundation for this vegetarian delight.
The star of the show was undoubtedly the paneer, which was generously scattered across the pizza. It was grilled to perfection, adding a smoky, creamy richness to each bite. The combination of colorful bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes provided a burst of freshness, while the subtle hint of basil in the tomato sauce added a fragrant depth of flavor.
The cheese was gooey and savory, complementing the vegetables and paneer beautifully. The balance of flavors was impeccable, making every slice a delightful journey for the taste buds.
Whether you're a vegetarian or just looking to try something different, Pizza Palace's Veggie Paneer Pizza is a must-try. It's a savory and satisfying option that will leave you craving more. The combination of quality ingredients and skillful preparation make it a standout choice...
