My first visit to the Burien Eagles was July 5th. I had relatives visiting from another state, who are both Eagles members in their city, so we decided to meet here. I was formerly a member of another aerie, until I relocated, so I decided to join this aerie, because I live fairly nearby. I met & befriended a member of this aerie that same night. I told him I wanted to join again, right away, & I expressed an interest in participating in karaoke every Sunday night. He kindly offered to meet me here on Sunday, July 7th, so he could help me join, & I could go to karaoke. When I arrived on Sunday, July 7th, something unexpected must've prevented my new friend from attending. However, when I inquired about membership from the nice lady managing the bar, she sought assistance from a kind gentleman, who answered all my questions. He happened to be President Jeff O'Conners, who then sponsored my membership, along with the vice president, whom he called upon to co-sponsor me. The three of them made the process very easy, quick, & pleasant. From there, I enjoyed a wonderful evening of karaoke with all of the lovely people there, who introduced themselves & warmly welcomed me. A large group graciously invited me to join them at their table & visited with me. It was one of the best experiences I've had for a long time. I'm looking forward to my installation on July 11th, karaoke every Sunday evening, & all of the other great things that being a member of the Eagles...
   Read moreThey do serve a good drink and there is a menu however they are not a reliable place to go and get a lunch... you never know when the cook will be there. I know this because use to work there.... not a good working...
