This is only the second time I have been to John Michael and the first time with Crystal. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and the color of my hair. She did it and I thought it was fine, but did not realize until after I was home and in the sunlight that It was not the color I asked for. I called her and asked if she can darken it as I showed her I wanted. Today I went in and she told me she would charge me 40 dollars to fix it. My sister was a hair stylist for 20 years and you never have to charge for a redue if the customer is not satisfied. She was very rude to me and told me I should have said something that day, well, that is not true. Many times a customer can be okay with it and realize later it is not what they want, nor what they asked for. I asked to talk to a manager , John. He was very nice and kind. As I was talking to him about what happened. Crystal was jumping in aggressively saying things to him. John told me that hair stylist there do not charge for fixing the hair. So I am not sure why she was and the aggressive rude behavior she exhibited. John rescheduled me to get my hair done with someone else. Crystal said she will not do my hair and made a scene in the salon, very unprofessional! I will try again and if you go here, ask for anyone except for Crystal. Thank you John for being professional and caring.
Unfortunately, I went in today for my scheduled redo of my hair. Rachel agreed to do my hair today. I came in at 12 she told me that my appointment was at 12:30. Her sign outside said closed. I told her that and she said it supposed to be that way?? But they are open on Sunday. I told her I will be back at 12:30. I came back and the doors were locked. I knocked and she refused to come to the door and she saw me . I asked her what is going on, she said that she doesn’t have to do my hair! That John said she didn’t have to! I asked her why didn’t she tell me that a half hour ago,? I asked to talk to John about this but would not give me his phone number. So I will talk to him tomorrow about this. If this is true, then it’s pretty bad that he would set up an appointment with me and then allow Rachel to cancel last minute. The reason being ?? Because I wrote the above review about Chrystal and Rachel said they are family there. Well then folks, don’t expect to have fairness or respect! If they treat people like this, it’s a poor reflection of them! I guess there is no freedom of speech and the customer has no say about their here. I would caution anyone from going here. Very unprofessional!!!
Rachel should have been honest instead of cowardly. Something I have no respect for are liars...
Read moreI've come to this salon numerous times. I find it's hot or miss depending on the stylist you get. My last visit was with a young lady, never gave her name. Aside from asking what I wanted done she didn't speak to me for the remainder of my appointment. I didn't ask for anything outrageous, just a long layerd cut. I left with angled bangs starting at 2 inches in the middle of my forhead and increasing in length. No layers anywhere else... My head looks like a box. Was an awful experience and an even worse cut. Read moreI recently started going to Crystal and could not be happier. I've gone to many stylists over the years, and none of them ever got things quite right. Crystal knows what she's doing - it's that simple. I gave her some guidelines and she's given me the exact perfect haircuts. I am so pleased with her that I convinced my mom to leave her Aveda stylist of over 20 years for Crystal. And my mom is thrilled as well (her color and highlights have never looked better. Crystal is a total wizard.) Crystal is honestly a master of her craft and I highly recommend her to anyone...
