This store had really let me down. I donât think iâll be visiting again. Yesterday afternoon my boyfriend and I had went to krogers to complete and instacart order. We had 3 orders to do. While checking out this woman worker was hovering over us and this other woman at the self checkout mind you my boyfriend, the other woman and myself are african american. the female worker had come over to us twice to put the paid stickers on two of our items which we understood and didnât feel profiled regarding that. then after ringing up the first order one of the items in the bags had fallen out and as we were about to pay for the second order she comes over quickly asking if we paid for that specific item which was mandarin oranges. i had said yes it fell out of the bag. she gave us an attitude and said well do you have the receipt . i handed her the receipt which checkout out that we had purchased it. now please tell me why i would be paying for over 100s of dollars worth of groceries but steal a $3-$4 item. She watched us the entire time while ringing out. Yet there were other people in the self checkout but we were the only ones that were African American. She seemed to have made a huge stereotype on us that we didnât appreciate at all. Therefore I wonât be returning to...
Read moreAwful Customer Service ! A friend passed away and we purchased a memorial bench. We wanted to add a few roses and babies breath tied with a bow when presented at the funeral parlor. So I went to Kroger the flowers are usually very fresh and beautiful. I was refused help by two employees of the floral department . As I explained all I needed and asked if they could please help me it wouldn't take long. I was rudely told no they did not have time and I need to call 24 hours in advance. As I am walking out of the store I then watch them blow up balloons and hand them out to little kids as they came in with their parents. Now believe me I do not begrudge a child a balloon, but it would have taken less time to grab two roses and tie them in a bow. If they had don't so they would have a satisfied and loyal customer. I now shop at the Giant Eagle Market District where they know the meaning of...
Read moreI live in Pittsburgh and was down Weirton visiting and stopped in Krogers! I bought several items and a big flower (gold poinsettia). I realized when I got home I had left it in the buggy! I called and spoke with a lady manager! She was very rude and was insinuated that I didnât leave it! She was yelling to people while I was on the phone asking them if the found a flower and she said she didnât know what to tell me but no one found it! Like what kind of costumer service is that! It would cost ms more on gas then what the flower was even worth but terrible manager to not even try to help figure it out! Not to mention i was in there late the night before she was asking people in the morning shift! Wouldnât even listen to let me explain how they would know when they wasnât even there! I will never go in there but hope they find better ways to...
