Dollar Tree — Local services in Calimesa

I was at Dollar Tree Calimesa close to closing on last Sat. 08/04/2018 As always I was impressed with the cleanliness & organization of this particular store. I was able to quickly find the necessities I came for and a whole bunch of neat, fun useful items. I was very happy with my decisions and arrived at checkout moments before the store announced it was closing. My cart was overflowing.

I was not prepared for what happened next, my card was declined, the young girl at the register did not make me feel like a deadbeat but rather patiently tried my card over again & again as I was adamant I had $ in the bank. The store manager a pretty women with very honest blue eyes now arrived to the isle as I was not giving up my items & returning n the morning as checker suggested, I was on hold with the bank , but was alerted there was a 17 minute hold time. :( Suzzette the Manager remained sweet & helpful helping me find a colution, it was to run across the street to the atm, brilliant! I did & came back to find Suzzete still waiting with a smile on her face even. Not only did she insist on wheeling my overstuffed cart to my car but she personally loaded my trunk being very congenial & down to earth , I felt like I had made a new best friend. I live about 15 mi east of the Calimesa location and pass several other Dollar Tree stores in route to this location, but it is now the only Dollar Tree I will visit & visit I do atlease twice a week.

I have never experienced such above & beyond customer service. AMAZING!!!

PS my Bank card had been missing, shut off & I was just going thru such a stressful time with the whole ordeal & bank. Suzette was so intuitive to my inner struggle & made me not just feel like a valued customer but like a women who cares and a friend when I needed one.

The cashier must be new and hates her job because it showed yesterday. I go here because their usually friendly and always greet me the other cashier who is always glowing and super sweet wasn’t there but the new cashier that was you can tell in her tone, eyes, and body language that she didn’t want to be there or help the customers. I’m getting ready for brain surgery I only go to place where I know the employees are nice to you because I can’t be stressed out at all or I’ll keep having seizures and my cyst will continue to grow. I asked her if she can recount my money because I have epilepsy so my brain is all over the place and I get confused quick not only was she rude she snatched the money and got frustrated with me she definitely helped with making me have a bad night, caused me so many auras to where I was scared to go to sleep, I have a disability that’s covered by the Ada I will be calling corporate because we know the store managers won’t do nothing and I will be filing a complaint with the Ada I’m tired of being treated unfairly because of my disability and people have no hearts. I’m getting brain surgery my life is on the line everyday I’m not rude to people it’s not okay and I will make sure it’s handled...

I've been this location since the Dollar tree was New of the location since I was walking in and being a proud follower of Christ I've been wearing some tactical gear where I didn't wear anything offensive just carrying holy pieces on my tactical gear and showing a patch of Saint Michael of my tactical rugged chest gear. I noticed there is a person just saw me walking who is a trans in my standpoint being a female but is a him I assumed when I just walk in I'm about to check out but I noticed a person closest register also been monitoring me probably because my faith and judging it and how I wearing the tactical gear has I only carry a taser which is okay in state law and I only do this for my offense because as we all know being faith we are dealing with harassment but I do notice a trans who is the man as I have a right to say it because I have religion law in Constitution allow me to do that.
