The customer service we experienced last week at the Giant Eagle in Ebensburg, PA was the worst experience I have ever received at a grocery store. Not only did the shift manger attempt to physically intimidate me but purposely misidentified himself as the Store Manager while continuing to be rude and unprofessional. When we attempted to speak to the real store manager the next morning, we received basically the same treatment. When we spoke to corporate, they apologized but said any franchise owner could do whatever they wanted. It is hard to believe a corporation this size would allow franchises to do whatever they like, not have to follow any corporate policies and treat customers however they wish. Always cooked to perfection. Great to get when in a hurry or different for dinner.
