Google My Business support does not respond to replies to their own emails! Unlike many other reviewers here I am posting about my experience with the company--Google. One would think that if a company has in place support channels and support staff that they would take seriously their responsibility to respond to users in a timely manner. I was told to submit some documents and my issue would be addressed in 1 or 2 days. It's now over 2 weeks. I've sent replies to emails I received from the GMB support team but have not received a response. I don't think any other company could get away with this type of behavior.
Update: After posting this review I received a phone call from GMB support within half hour. At that point I had high hopes the matter would be resolved and I could come back here to edit this review in the positive. Although the issue was partially resolved within 36 hours of that call a very important piece is still not resolved. That being the restoration of over 100 reviews to their proper location. This is even after being promised they would be restored within 7 days. Still a long time but we realize that the review restoration process is likely performed by a technical team, not by the GMB support staff. So now it's been 9 days. The GMB support still does not reply to emails. I did call them again after respectfully allowing the 7 days to pass. My impression was that they had not yet escalated the matter to the technical team but promised to do so. I'm updating this review now in the hopes that someone at Google actually monitors reviews and can authorize the support staff to fast...
Read moreI have a business called Luxor cafe. For some reason google decided to take it off google maps. Our address is 148 Mt Auburn St, Cambridge MA 02138. We disputed it and online it says it takes 3-4 weeks to get a response. I visited both this location and newbury street and was told I’d get a phone call yesterday. We have received nothing. We need our business to be visible online. There is no phone number and no email for this department and no response. I will remove the review once we get a response and our business is back online. We were told that it gets taken off when it is a fake business. We have numerous articles and been featured on Boston globe. We need a response...

I just got a question on my phone about one of my reviews every time I try to answer it or others -the questions disappears ! They are not in my emails ! Why ? 4/2023. Second message to google! I spent a long time redoing the review 3 times for the Square Cafe - you won’t let it on … why please??? It won’t let me put pictures of the food we had in review ! ??
How do I get them back so I can respond???
Also when I try to put explanations under my pictures or add to them I can’t get back to my reviews. Please explain? Thank you for this...
