Seven Star Bookstore and Crystal Store is a shining beacon in the neighborhood, earning a "rock-solid" seven-star rating from me! While crystals may not be my forte, their impressive collection of books sorted by themes ensures there's a star-worthy read for everyone.
The bookstore offers a diverse range of books sorted by themes, ensuring that there's something for everyone. Whether you're into history, learning, or exploring new genres, you're bound to find a book that captures your interest.
What sets Seven Star apart is its progressive vibe, perfectly in tune with the spirit of Cambridge. The store's dedication to providing a wide selection of books and fostering a welcoming environment is commendable.
Having such a great bookstore in the neighborhood adds immense value to the community. It's a place where book lovers can explore, discover new reads, and engage with like-minded individuals. Kudos to Seven Star Bookstore and Crystal Store for being a fantastic addition to the neighborhood!
This store's name isn't just a celestial coincidence; it truly lives up to its stellar reputation. From their diverse book selection to their welcoming atmosphere, Seven Star Bookstore and Crystal Store is a "gem"...
Read moreEDIT: This store also sells palo santo and white sage, which both are big no-no's as it's becoming overharvested due to it becoming "trendy", as well as both being culturally appropriated. Sage in particular has been used by Indigenous people for centuries and they have spoken out asking to stop using this herb that is sacred to them. Please stop buying these items if you are non-native!!!!!!
Coming here as a POC felt very hostile. While the store had an amazing range of different crystals, the workers made no effort to be welcoming. There is also a huge selection of books, but I'm disappointed at the lack of POC authors especially in regards to practices that originate from other countries. Even judging by the clientele, I could tell that this is a store that caters to the trends and popularity of metaphysical practice, rather than having an actual respect and reverence for it. If you're a POC or want to support POC, I would not go to this store. It overall felt very...
Read moreThere is NOTHING LIKE IT in the area, and very few of these places left anymore. Seven Stars remains successful for a reason and was always King of the old-school "new age bookstores" that were so popular years ago. I've known Stuart for about 30 years, going back to the older shop on JFK street in Harvard. To our friends that hung out in this place, the others are/were merely cheap imitations! If you're fortunate enough to spend time in there you'll likely feel the energy and know this is not just a book store. If you have no interest in Occult research, expanding awareness, Religious studies, esoteric & UFOs (to name a few) you may not "get-it" but you'll still likely find something worthy of your curiosity. I'll reiterate; there IS NO other place like it. This shop is an iconic landmark of the human depth that's missing from our modern technological culture, and is a true blessing to...
