Andala Coffee House offers a peaceful respite for those in search of a breakfast or brunch with an exotic twist. It’s decorated with charming Middle Eastern inspired decor, and on my recent visit, the relaxed ambiance and attentive staff ensured a pleasant dining experience. Looking for a more filling start to our day, my friend and I chose the Kufta Besiniah and Chicken Kabob for our brunch. Both dishes, served with rice and vegetables, proved to be excellent choices. The Chicken Kabob was particularly good. Crafted from tender chicken breast, the dish was moist and flavorful, avoiding the dryness that often plagues this cut. The accompanying Jineen salad, a mix of cucumber, fresh parsley, and tomatoes, added a refreshing counterpoint to the savory kabob. Equally enjoyable was the Kufta Besiniah, a sumptuous dish featuring a 'meat pancake' of baked ground beef, generously topped with fresh tomatoes. Despite its thickness, the beef remained tender and succulent. Paired with onions and grilled bell peppers, this dish provided a satisfying complexity of flavors. The Andala Coffee House proves a cozy haven for those in search of an interesting, filling brunch. It's a delightful experience well worth the visit.

The coffee shop was sort of hidden at the corner of a Main Street off Central Square. I went inside on a Sunday afternoon around 2:30Pmish, the place was quite packed. I was intrigued by its various cultural extravagant decor and Palestinian flags. The vibe was very young and energizing. I ordered a latte since the staff didn’t really know what a “flat white” was when I ordered. I had to say the coffee was quite mediocre, mostly tasted like foamed milk, maybe that’s what it should be like since in Italy ordering latte will get you a milk served. The one shot of coffee didn’t offer much taste at all, maybe try two expresso shots next time. So without tasting the food, I can only comment on the latte and decor. I would give the atmosphere and decor a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but the coffee ⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the taste and price at $4 dollars. Lastly, I was really puzzled when I get the latte, it was half full in my to-go cup, is that the standard nowadays?

I was looking for a coffee shop to get some work done, and this was a great choice. On a Sunday morning/afternoon, it was pretty busy, so I grabbed a seat at a counter and ordered a mocha. In addition to the floor that you enter on, there's a downstairs too with more tables for small groups that would be great for eating. he coffee was fine, though I wasn't particularly blown away. The mocha flavor was not very strong and it wasn't very hot/cooled very quickly. That being said, it's more than adequate as a spot for casual work, brunch, or people watching. It's an Arabic coffee shop, and the décor definitely celebrates that and emits a "busy" vibe. I thought it was quite interesting that they played Latin music pretty much exclusively until 12 PM, when they switched to English-language mainstream pop music as it got busier. The servers were pleasant enough and didn't rush me out, which was much appreciated.

I came in really wanting to love the place. Very warm decor. Service managed to seat our large party on a busy night and was overall very accommodating. The food? My god, the food. The chicken shawarma doesn't seem to be actually cut off a vertical spit, and furthermore was just dry, flavorless, and sad. The shawarma plate seemed to be accompanied with, Vlasic dill pickle chips? And was itself underwhelming. As a coffee shop, was very excited to dive into some teas/coffee. The tea was served in sort of greasy, diner drinking glasses as opposed to a proper tea glass which I would expect from a spot like this. I'm not ordering a glass of Lipton at iHop, I'm supposedly at a Palestinian coffee shop. All in all, it's just not a great place. Maybe for hookah in the summers, the people were certainly very nice. I love great Arabic food, and this place just flops heavily on that note.
