Bomgaars — Local services in Camdenton

I don’t typically write reviews, but this is something the company should be aware of. I went in today to buy a new wrangler button down- it wasn’t the shirt or the cashier that was the problem. There was no tag on the shirt, and it was placed on the women’s wrangler 25% off rack.

The manager came up to the register, acted hateful and stormed off to “find the price” even though there wasn’t another shirt exactly like it on the floor(I looked for one with a tag). After 20 minutes of waiting for a price, she finally reappeared, with a men’s 3XLT shirt that wasn’t even remotely similar, had the cashier use that sku, and stated it was $27.00 & a close out item so there’s no way she would apply the 25% off discount, even though it was the last one in the store, hanging on that rack with similar shirts. It’s not the price that got to me, it was how it was delivered.

I have NEVER encountered such a hateful person that’s meant to be in customer service, much less management. She was even rude to the poor cashier. I won’t be returning to this store while she still...

Went in to get some ammunition for turkey season. No one at the counter. I waited around, looked at other stuff near the counter for 30 minutes, still no one. I did get a couple of other items and went to the checkout. The girl asked if I found everything ok. I told her I did, but since there was no one to help me get it from behind the counter, I'll do without. She asked if I wanted someone now. I told her I waited for 30 minutes and it was now too late. Nothing else was said. So, I drove down the road to Jack's Sporting Goods. They had 10x the ammunition inventory at competitive prices. I spent $300 there that would have gone to Bomgaars had someone helped me. Their loss and now I have a new go-to. Even though I just purchased over $1000 worth of tools there, what I spent today will be the last of my dollars that they will see. I hope it...

New thing 8/5/24: don't buy a gun here. Their policy does not align with federal law. They are the only business that does not follow federal laws. You get a background check and after 3 days if nothing comes back with a red flag, they don't care. They won't sell it to you. So, after 30 days they close it and try to sell the gun to someone else.

I have a farm tax exempt letter and when I went to get feed they made copies. A few days later I went in to get feed and my name wasn't in the system. The cashier remembered me but she couldn't give me the tax off because it wasn't in the system. Honestly frustrated at the situation so now I just go to MFA. Cheaper feed at MFA too. Also should add that I used to live in Willard so I would use the Republic or Ozark location to get feed, they never required my form and never had an issue just adding my name...
