Spencer's — Local services in Cape Girardeau

Gonna be honest I used to like going to this store, but recently there was an incident where my friend was accused of stealing from there. So they checked our bags and our pockets and we were good. The lady who was working (I do not recall her name) then proceeded to follow us around the mall. We even made weird turns and boom there she was. We then asked her to check the footage to further prove we were innocent. She claims she did and when we asked if she saw anything she said she is going to show it to the police. We asked if she wanted contact information so the police or manager could get ahold of us and she said no. So how are we supposed to know what the police say if they can not get into contact with us. We all tried being polite but she was still very rude. She would not let us explain and interrupted alot. Just not a good...

Love the store and the products. But I visitited today living more than an hour away. Not once did either of the female employees ask if I needed help. And so I walked up to the counter and asked if their body jewelry was surgical steel (because the packaging didn’t state that it was). With the most uninterested voice she says “yes”. And then goes back to talking to the other worker. Since all of the jewelry is locked behind a case door, you would imagine they would ask if there was anything they could get out for you. But I just walked straight out of the store and left. I won’t be back to the cape Spencer’s. And really it’s to bad, living so far away and that being the only place I was able to find exactly what I was looking for, I planned on buying every one you had since I change rings every so often. The witchy goth jewelry and books section is great. Lots to offer with jewelry, unfortunately when it comes to clothing if you wear anything over a 1x you will have a hard time finding anything in your size. It was pretty funny to see spirit Halloween items in the store too. I would ha e given it a better rating but not having any clothing over a 1x was pretty...
