Unfortunately the cinnamon twists I usually buy for my mother were contaminated with sanitizing water flavor. I'm sure this was accidental. Normally I have no problems with my food here. Beyond this rant though, the employee and service he provided me was appreciated. He corrected his co-worker's mistske right in front of me and made sure that i didn't get served sanitization flavored nacho cheese on my burritos as well. Unfortunately I guess he didn't realize the cinnamon twists were affected since he probably wasnt the one who preped them, but at least he did everything within his awareness to prevent me from having a totally negative experience with the food.
Just a side note though - when ordering, inflation has caused quite a notable gap between similar food selections... ordering a cheap variant and then replacing ingredients on the kiosk is a good way to save a decent amount of money on your orders. For eample: If you enjoy Bean Burritos but don't wanna pay 2.49/burrito, order the value menu burrito (cheesy rice & bean burrito), and replace the rice with red sauce. Unfortunately these burritos went up to 1.49/each and red sauce costs 20 cents to add (onions also cost 20 extra cents so I opted to leave them off to save even more money. That's a savings of 80 cents. You can do roughly the same maneuver with the Black Bean Chalupa and replace them with 90 cent seasoned beef for a burrito Supreme. (3.59 +0.90 = 4.49 vs 5 dollars). Keep an eye out for this stuff at all fast food restaurants to save money. Big orders will really help you see the cost difference. 80 cents x 10 is 8 dollars, or roughly a discount of 32% from the total price of directly ordering a Bean Burrito. Yes it is a round about method of saving money, but editing the order from the kiosk makes things a lot less complicated - and the price discrepancy is also a lot...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst customer service I have seen at the location at 3039 William Street in Cape Girardeau, MO. After waiting almost 30 minutes in the drive thru (other people were leaving the drive thru line because of the wait but we was patiently waiting because we was tired and wanted to go home and didn't want to have to go somewhere else to get food) the car in front of us was given their food for free because apparently the register was messing up and they couldn't take payment. After waiting this long in line we pull up and the guy says the register is messing up and they can't take payments so we can come back later if we want. We asked well why did you give the guy in front of us his food and not take a payment. We've been waiting 30 minutes and you should do the same with us. After 30 minutes in line they hadn't even started making our order and we asked to speak to a manager. The manager would not come to the window. We asked 2 times for a manager and they refused to come talk to us. The guy working the window said we could come inside and place an order and pay using a different register. We did that and came inside and again asked to talk to a manager and the manager would not come to the front. The worker literally asked 3 times for the manager and they would not come to the front and talk to us. Pathetic excuse for management. ...
Read moreWhen I arrived it was during the lunch hour, however the drive thru was backed around the building so I decided to go and and place my order thinking it would be faster. I walked in went right to the register with no line there and placed an order for one bean burrito. After paying for it I was asked my name and realized there were 7 or 8 people who had already placed their order and were waiting. I stood by the counter and waited and waited and waited. After 11 minutes there were still 3 still waiting for their orders and what happened next genuinely surprised me. I was asked what I ordered and I replied "after waiting for 11 minutes I am still waiting on a bean burrito" the employee rushed over and made the bean burrito, bagged and handed it to me in under 15 seconds. I told them how inconvenient it was waiting that long for one burrito to go and they apologized gave me a voucher for a free taco as I was walking toward the door. As I was walking to the car and noticed the vehicle we was behind before I decided to go in was still 2 cars back from the pay window! I realize people get served in order but I had in my mind they could have made the one burrito and got me on my way like they did after waiting 11 minutes. This experience is one I...
