Downtown Cape May during the holiday season is like stepping back in time into a picturesque Hallmark Christmas movie… BUT the crowds are insane. I frequent Manhattan every year during Christmas and the parking situation, food reservations and over crowdedness are on that level. I’d plan ahead and take an Uber directly to Congress Hall and plan your itinerary from there, that will eliminate an hour of stressful searching for that ONE coveted parking spot. Other than that, it’s a must do. The attached pictures are of the Winter Wonderland in the Congress Hall courtyard. Live music, heaters and fires surrounding the pool. They have various venders and a small food selection, but expensive drinks under the heater poolside was a win for me compared to the 5 restaurants we visited and were shot down to even get on the waiting list.
