Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Capitola

Before reading this note that Joe Olivera the Assistant Manager needs to be promoted.

I’ve always had good experiences with Men’s Wearhouse. This paticular location is the best store period. It doesn’t feel like I walk into a wal mart or a target, it feels as if I’m walking into the small time tailor shop where you sit and you chat for 30 minutes before you even try something on. These associates care about you, they wanna know about what’s going on and they want to help you look and dress the best way possible. I buy suits for work, so I always have to come in and get things tailored, fixed, etc. these guys treat me with the same energy as if I were buying 5 suits which is something you rarely see being in the sales world. So because of this store every suit I have purchased has been from Men’s Wearhouse and nowhere else. They take care of you and they help you succeed.

Perfect example has been Joe Olivera, this guy is a role model for what a manager should be. Someone who is looking In the best interest of the customer, giving recommendations instead of ignoring or focusing on sales. Joe doesn’t need to sell because he ties the need of the customer to the recommendation he makes. When someone who has a goal and sees someone putting in their 2 cents it shows trust, it shows commitment. And when it comes to formal wear I believe that is everything. You have a great employee here at this company. As well as the other associates too. So thanks again to the Capitola store you guys...

A shout-out to the store and to Julia who helped my husband and I get everything he needed today (except the undies!) for my niece's semi-formal wedding next month out of state. We had no prior experience doing this, but Julia took us in hand gently with a friendly, professional attitude. She knows which brands have exactly what sizes to narrow down the perfect fit in trousers, jacket and shirt, and helped us understand the different suit cuts and the tiny details that are important for a semi-formal event, like shirt and jacket sleeve lengths and pants length. My husband also needed classy suspenders (he can't wear a belt due to a past hernia), tie, and pocket handkerchief, along with shoes and dress socks. And the store even had shoes big enough for his size 13 feet! They are tailoring jacket sleeves and trousers and we'll get those in a couple weeks. So glad we found the right store and could do it all...

Elizabeth was just what I was looking for in a Customer Service Representative! She was very personable, funny, sweet (because she laughed at my lame jokes) and knowledgeable. She told me she worked there for 3.5 - 4 months but it sure seemed like she ran the place. She knew just what to do, multi-tasked in a perfect way with a customer who had called and, in addition, sold her product well. I would have been in and out faster but I couldn't help but talk with her! I highly recommend this location and her expertise. In fact, when she repeated my phone number assigned to my suit reservation I felt as though I wanted to have hers -- If only I were picking up my suit from the Capitola location but, unfortunately, that's not the case.
