Oh, this mall. Prepare to be absolutely thrilled by a retail experience so authentic, it's practically an archaeological dig. Remember the glorious days of anchor stores? Well, this gem boasts the ghosts of several. You can practically feel the hustle and bustle of shoppers past as you wander through the echoing corridors, occasionally dodging a rogue tumbleweed. And the stores! A truly curated collection. If your heart yearns for the thrill of a RadioShack that closed in 2010 or the sheer excitement of a Spencer's Gifts that's now just a dusty memory, you've hit the jackpot. The sheer variety of vacant storefronts is breathtaking – each one a poignant reminder of consumerism's fleeting nature. But the ambiance! Oh, the ambiance is simply unmatched. The soft glow of the few remaining flickering fluorescent lights perfectly complements the faded glory of the pastel-colored tile. And the gentle hum of the ancient HVAC system? A symphony of nostalgia. You can almost hear the faint strains of 80s power ballads wafting from the spectral food court. Truly, if you're looking for a deeply moving experience that transports you back to a time when shoulder pads were king and Orange Julius reigned supreme, look no further. Just be sure to bring your imagination – and maybe a snack, as dining options are... limited to memories. Five out of five stars for sheer historical accuracy in...
Read moreEven through my sister and I did not get what we wanted when we got there, we were taken care of by a great associate by the name of Cainin. He helped us by locating what we wanted even through we had to travel a lot farther than we wanted...especially when there's a closer Lowes right down the road where she lives. All I can say is that the Lowes stores need to find a better way of tracking your products because running your customers way out of their way and not having the item there when the customer gets there is not a good recommendation for a customer to come back and my sister has given your company a lot of business this summer. One positive note, my sister was given a discount on those items she purchased at the East Lancaster Lowes store. She lives in Fayetteville...an over two hour drive from the place she had to go to get the items she definitely needed to finish a...
Read moreThis place has alot of potential if the borough or whomever is in control would simply entice businesses to come into the mall. 5 and Below recently moved in beside Target they EASILY could've went into the mall. As could many other small businesses that are constantly popping up in downtown Carlisle. You could easily see Old Navy, TJ Maxx, go in where Bon-Ton used too be. Would love to see a Plato's Closet or similar type of shop go in where Joann fabrics used to be. This mall sucks because of it's wasted potential. The one thing it had going for it Neato Burrito has been closed for three years due to covid and I'm pretty sure at this point is...
