7 Brew Coffee — Restaurant in Carlsbad

We just stopped to pick up some ice teas from 7 brews in Carlsbad. We were pulling up the drive when my elderly father spilled a hand full of ice and while my sister was ordering & having a very friendly and nice conversation with the girl that took the order, I threw the hand full (only) of ice out of the window and I must also note it’s 80 degree weather. We were finishing up the order when another clerk came in to chime in on the conversation & it all went south pretty quickly & quite ridiculous. She proceeded to tell us that “ I need to let you know that if you throw things(ice) out of your car we will have to refuse you service next time you come by here! And this is a hazard & also coming from management. I must say her delivery was so wrong, she was very snooty..and definitely needs a whole lot of training in customer service. I really felt like saying that the huge nose ring hanging from her nose could also be a hazard but I refrained from being rude to her. She had a smirk on her face & was totally obnoxious… while the girl that took our order was bewildered by what was coming out of her mouth. Well she need not worry, they will not have to refuse service.. we can just go...

Went one evening and got a smoothie. Excellent.

Went back a couple of days later to try the coffee. I left without any coffee.

Waited inline for 15 mins, I was almost to the front of the line when the barista came with the iPad to take orders. She skipped me and took the orders of 2 cars behind. They paid and received their drinks before she even came to my car to take my order. When she finally came to my car, she was a bit snotty and mockingly said, " has anybody been by to take your order?" I said no and she rolled her eyes and asked me "well what do you want?". I told her I changed my mind and drove out of line.

I went for their community day where they were giving out free small drinks for everyone to try. I got a small nightshade energy drink. It was delicious! It was a super long line , but they had enough help that I got through in 15 minutes! They said their regular hours would be 530am-11pm. Highly recommend!
