Went there to try and reorganize/work on pricing for 3 cell phones, cable, and internet. Currently paying over $500 for it all. Made an appointment to do an account review. It was the first appointment of the day. We showed up and the store was empty. 10-15 mins later a guy shows up blaming someone else for his being late. Never once apologized. Not once. On top of it gave us little to no help with restructuring all of our services. The lack of customer service was one of the worst I have ever experienced.
IMPORTANT UPDATE...4 years ago I went to this store and ended up writing one of the only negative reviews I have ever posted (see above). I recently had to go back due to AT&T imploding my account after we were able to bundle our services together. Austin (the store manager) was very helpful on that trip and helped us get all of our services bundled together. During that process, AT&T created a new account and left my old account still active with an outstanding balance. Due to a "non-payment" they switched off all of our cell phones. I went to the store to get help and Austin was there to help, and how the pendulum swings. He was not only pleasant and patient (this took over 2 hours to resolve), but he was doggedly persistent in getting me taken care of. He was to have left the store over an hour before we were able to resolve the issue, but he was not going to leave until it was done. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE...the kind you rarely see anymore. Read moreI went in to upgrade my phone. There were two employees in the store assisting me at different times. The one that did most of the transaction spent more time reading text messages off her watch and texting on her phone than processing the order. She was also to add insurance to the phone prior to my departure. I just logged onto my account to look to see if it was added. It was not. She was going to look into seeing if they could order screen protectors for my new Galaxy S10 as they had none in the store. I had to remind her again before leaving. She took my phone number and said she would call if they found out they could. How can you have three brand new Galaxy phones in your store to sell but not carry screen protectors for 1 out of the 3. And also why would you not know if they can be ordered in? Wouldn't that be a staple item for such a store? Also when asked if I needed anymore accessories, I inquired if the phone to the same charger cords. She picked up my old phone and stated that no, they were the same cord. I guess she really didn't want any more sales as it is NOT the same cord. I will go to another store to purchase a car charger and secondary phone cord and screen protector. If she spent as much time giving quality customer service as she did texting or playing on her phone, she might find herself as employee of the year. At that time, some commitments were made to me (both verbally and in writing) that would be honored at the end of the year if I dropped cable and just kept the Internet. Well, the year came up over a month ago, and I canceled my cable just like I originally said. However, the commitment I believed had been made was not being honored. The manager who made me the commitment had since moved to Fishers store, but I felt it still best to deal with the store where I originally did business with. I stopped by in person, made repeated calls (with promises of return calls that never came), and was told the store would contact the original manager, but after a month of hassle, there was still no resolution. So I called the manager of the Fishers store (who seemed to me like he had never even been told of my issue), and we were able to come to a satisfactory solution the same day!
