The staff’s behavior was very insolent, and there are no words to describe the organization of the store - although it was clean it is filled with the most mundane products. The problem started when I stopped by regularly to buy the cards from the store and sometimes look around when waiting, but the staff would never acknowledge me or even talk to me - even when their store was idle or busy! When I asked questions about some of the products, the staff would either tell me to wait for a minute - then never come back - or completely ignore me and walk past. Before this happened, a friend of mine had recommended this store to me - which is the only reason why I tried to go and keep going to the place - and then I recommended this store to two friends of mine - one white and one Asian-American. When they went, they had both bought the same thing. The employees only acknowledged my white friend and completely disregarded my Asian-American friend. Then at check-out, the two employees put in tissue paper, folded the items neatly, and put all of the items in a fancy gift wrap bag for my white friend. But for my Asian-American friend, the employees crumpled up her item and threw it into a plastic bag - that had the words “thank you” written multiple times in the front. When my Asian-American friend asked for a paper-bag, the employee rolled her eyes, sighed, and threw the items into a paper bag and sighed again. My white friend had told me this entire story, and how completely disrespectful the entire staff was to my Asian-American friend. I cannot believe how much embarrassment this store has caused me and the large amount of brazen impudence from the staff to my friends, and I am very nervous and disgusted to know how many people they have been absolutely, shamelessly discourteous with - especially with people of color and people of minority races/ethnicities.
