For our pizza adventure on Friday, 09/26/25, we decided to try out Roselli's Pizza. What a beautiful and amazing place with staff and food that is delightfully amazing! When we walked in the door, we were greeted by some of the most friendly servers that I've had the pleasure to meet. We asked to sit outside and were quickly taken to the patio. It was a beautiful day and the ambience of Roselli's really fit the occasion.
Mia was our waitress and quickly got our drinks to us, then took our order. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able to patiently guide us through our choices. She was so pleasant. ;-)
Our food came quickly too, and it was hot, so we know it wasn't sitting under a heatlamp.
I ordered the Chicago Deep Dish All Meats pizza...just the 10" because I was the only one in a "pizza" mood for some reason. LOVED IT! The crust had a delicious buttery flavor, and the toppings were perfect. I could only eat half of it, so took the rest home. It easily past the "morning after" test as I had a piece for breakfast. It was even better the next day!
My wife and one of my daughters go the Chicken Alfredo. They said the chicken was grilled to perfection, and the Alfredo sauce was very creamy and flavorful. It was a huge serving as well, so got a ride back to the casa as well.
Another daughter ordered the Chicken Parmesan, and raved about the crispiness of the chicken and the flavor of the sauce. It was also a huge portion, so she had that for lunch the next day.
Our youngest daughter wasn't too hungry, so ordered the Breadsticks and some Mozzarella Sticks. The Breadsticks had the perfect amount of seasoning and came with plenty of cheese and marinara sauce. The cheese sticks were crispy and tasty..and as my daughter said...magnifico!
Lastly was our little boy. He ordered the Fried Ravioli and it was such a large order he couldn't finish it either. Of course, I had to try one since he was sitting next to me, and I was very pleased. The ravioli's were crisp and seasoned well and they also came with plenty of marinara sauce. He got the beef ravioli, and said he would definitely have those again. I concur! They were awesome!
If you are hankering for pizza, or any other type of Italian dish, I highly recommend a trip to Roselli's. The prices are well within what you would expect from such a high quality establishment. You will not be disappointed. We were happy with our visit and will most certainly return. Thanks, Mia, for...
Read moreI called to order Pizza To Go. I'm from Chicago and I like thin crust, which by the way is the true Chicago-style pizza. Most Chicagoans eat thin crust, not the deep dish. I ordered their Monster Pizza well done I specifically said I wanted an extra crispy. I came to pick it up and it didn't look well done at all. I asked the lady does that look well done. She said not really I took the pizza because they were already closed when I picked it up and just finishing the last customers. When I looked up the the menu online it showed 19.99 but they informed me that they change their prices recently and it's 27.99, for 12-in pizza which is ridiculous. In the city of Chicago if you order a thin crust pizza and you pay $27.99 you're getting a football field size pizza which is a they call him that because it's able to feed a football party so you get a couple of those. I even ordered it with less cheese which saves them some money, for what you get it's not worth almost $30 for a 12 inch pizza. I would have been in a little bit better mood if it would have been cooked at least comment to the way I asked. Therefore I give it three stars I would have gave it five stars if it was priced maybe $21 at the highest and if it was cooked to extra crispy or well done as I requested. I will not eat a pizza that does not eat a thin crust pizza it does not have a crunch to the crust. I'm eating a bit of the edges and the rest of it's going in the trash because I'm at a hotel I can't toast it to crisp it up a little bit. I will say it does taste like a Chicago thin crust pizza but need to cook it according to the customers preference or tell the customer no, we won't cook outside of our normal time
So I gave them a second try and I couldn't believe that a two-topping 12 inch thin crust pizza with very light on the cheese cost $26. How does that make any sense I had the Monster Pizza which has like eight ingredients on top of it with cheese what's 27.00 how does that make any sense? Two toppings $26, seven...
Read moreI find reviews extremely helpful. I also know when to look for someone who just wants to complain. I do have some critical reviews, but I am a fair reviewer. We all work hard for our money and I expect to get what I'm paying for and what the business is advertising and offering.
Onto Roselli's. My husband and I were at an area dealership a couple months ago and decided to stop in there on our way home. BAM! Wow! Amazing. Talk about quality and get your money's worth! They have the art of pizza and Italian food down to a mastery. We decided to try a pick-up order but try a few other things. BAM, amazing again! We got a ton of food, salad, appetizers, a pizza (that wouldn't fit into our fridge). Their salad dressing must be made there. The Ceasar salad was amazing, the jalapeno poppers OMG, best I've ever had! Their crust is amazing. We got a ton of food and extra sauces, etc for about $60. Heck we almost spend that much at MickyDs for three adults and a bunch of yuck.
So, short story long, you won't be disappointed. I didn't care much for the atmosphere when I was there the first time. I like dark, but it was a bit too dark, but the servers and everyone working there (even for the pick up order) are amazing! Thank you Roselli's for a wonderful experience. We will be repeat customers for years to come (God...
