We have been to Carmel Kindercare for over 6 months and are very satisfied with the care that our little one has been receiving. We were on the waitlist for the longest time with the previous director (who was so overwhelmed that she dropped the ball on our enrollment) and when the new director Ashley came on, things have been running smoothly ever since. I cannot say enough good things about how the leadership reflects the school. We trust Ashleyâs leadership to have great teachers/staff who are patient, caring and understandingâqualities that our toddler needs in her teachers. Also when I brought up my daughterâs special needs situation, Ashley is the only one out of all the previous daycares we have experience with that accommodated her needs full on! She confidently said all the teachers will be trained in helping with my daughterâs feeding needs, got clearance from our pediatrician, got all paperwork through in timely manner and just makes us as parents with special needs child that much easier to not have to worry about her at school. Weâve been to Kiddie Academy, then the Weston both in Westfield previously. The first kicked us out once our daughterâs feeding situation changed because they werenât âcomfortableâ with it (appalling because the staff can be easily trained according to our pediatrician) and the 2nd required us to come in personally for each and every mealtime and had us wait months to get clearance. Meeting Ashley and coming to Carmel Kindercare with teachers that were more than accommodating for my daughter to feel she is a part of the class with her peers is a breath of fresh air. Whatâs more, my daughter has PT and speech therapies at the school, and even her therapists have been super pleased and have commented on the wonderful leadership and kind teachers. Many thanks to Ashley, Irene and the team for giving my daughter a chance to enjoy schoolâsheâs loved school ever...
Read moreMy toddler has attended since he was an infant and he loves it here! He has learned so much and made so many new friends. The staff loves him and they are so sweet and so patient with him. He colors, he plays in the gym, he eats yummy food, he reads, he experiences new hands on activities almost daily (like the time they put milk in a rubber glove and let the kids milk the cow, lol they loved it!) In true transparency, there have been a few minor issues along the way, (some growing pains with the facility transitioning to new leadership I assume) but anytime something has come up they have addressed it and worked to fix it. We can message and get a quick response or talk to the staff in person about our needs, everyone there is very approachable and ready to help! Additionally, as a same-sex couple we have our own concerns about potential unfair treatment of our son and how staff might treat us - but that has never been an issue here! The staff calls us both momma/mom and is happy to see us. They treat us and our son just as the beautiful, normal family that we are. Our son is in great hands here and I would recommend this facility to anyone seeking quality childcare. (Itâs pricey, but we honestly toured pricier and this one was still better - and no...
Read moreWe love Carmel KinderCare! Our preschooler has been enrolled for the last year, and our experience has been nothing short of fantastic.
The teachers at Carmel KinderCare are outstanding. They are not only kind and caring but also highly responsive to our child's needs. They consistently go above and beyond to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Our child has been exposed to a variety of educational activities, all presented in a creative and stimulating manner.
One aspect that particularly stands out is how well-prepared our child has become for kindergarten. The curriculum is comprehensive and designed to ensure that children are ready for the next step in their educational journey. We are confident that our child will transition smoothly in the fall, thanks to the excellent preparation provided by Carmel KinderCare.
Our child has thrived under their guidance, and we are grateful for the positive impact they have had...
