Wow! What a pleasant surprise. They have so many amazing baked goods and fantastic flavors of ice cream! The staff here are genuine and friendly, and they really care about you finding the exact right item to make your visit the best it can be. The decor and eating area are stylish and comfortable. In fact the dining space is so nicely designed it feels like the prices should be higher, but they aren't! My recommendations are the cinnamon ice cream and the Dutch apple pie, and if you combine the two of them I think you may have just made some magic! Thank you to the management team Ivan Frink and his amazing staff for making my stay so enjoyable. If it's a nice day out don't miss eating outside under the covered patio by the pond and watching the family of turtles. Review update, went back today and the team at Homemade showed up! What a fantastic visit! The food was so good. The team at Homemade answered my questions and then made recommendations for my meal. The food was delicious and seeing the team at Homemade in action was truly impressive. Dishes were cleared, drinks were refilled, and everyone was smiling and enjoying their time. My friend who met me there was also impressed and mentioned what a great place it was. I want to give a special shout-out to Jessica, Jill, Yoselyn, and Claire. I appreciate your time and genuine care, which made my meal so great.

This place is an absolute joke. I ordered a full Turkey and Cheddar sandwich, expecting a proper cold sandwich with lettuce and tomato. What I got was half of a pathetic, toasted mess with dried-out mystery meat and a sad, burnt scrap of American cheese. The broccoli soup tastes like someone melted down the cheapest processed cheese they could find. The fact that they charge money for this disaster is beyond insulting. This place is a total scam and should be ashamed of serving food this bad. EDIT: just had the blueberry pie. It’s okay, but no part of it tastes “homemade.” I think that’s my biggest issue with this place. I feel baited and switched. When “homemade” is in your name, I expect the care and love of scratch cooking to be reflected in the food. This is FAR from that. I mean, Pillsbury pie crust and canned blueberries are still tasty and can technically be “made at home”…but it’s most assuredly not with $6 per slice. Save your money and swing by Aldi on your way home. With minimal effort, you can make ACTUAL homemade food that’s so much better.

Go for the cakes, come back again for a pie, and then return for the cookies! It is difficult to know where to begin when you walk through the doors. The sweet scent wraps you like a hug from your Grandma or Auntie, and you're instantly transported to another place and time. Looking through each glass case, the cake, pie, cupcake, or cookie looks fresh out the oven - a person can tell the amount of time and love each of these delicious treats has poured into it. Then, if you have the time, you can sit back and enjoy a nibble at one of the comfortable booths, lounge chairs or take advantage of the warm fall weather and retreat outside to the patio, and the relaxing backdrop of the pond. The service was fantastic. My questions were answered almost before I could ask, and I welcomed suggestions from the many choices I had. Worth the trek, worth any wait there might be... enjoy the sweetness!

The lobster Bisque was spoiled tasted like gasoline awful.🤢 The view would be great if only the bank by the pond wasn't littered by the restaurants trash.🚫 Older blonde lady was passive aggressive taking our order saying "oh finally ready to order." 🙄

It was our first time here so we stepped to the side to read the menu. when another couple came in we told them to go ahead and explained to the couple and the blonde cashier, it was our first time visiting and wanted to see our options.

The cashier did not welcome us, did not offer any help or asked if we had any questions. Mind you we were the only other customers in line. and it was a different younger girl that took thier order.

We sat outside by the water, noticed all the trash. we stuffed all ours into the chip bag and stacked the plates. We went inside looking for a trash can and a place to put our plates and I wanted to tell them about the soup so it wouldn't get all the other dishes smothered by its gross goo.

We stood by the counter waiting for 1 of the 4 people behind the counter to help. There was only one customer at the register. Finally I speak up and ask one of the girls tells us oh you leave it at the table one of us will get it.

wow that explains the trash, wind blows it off the tables ALSO this would have been nice to know in the BEGINNING when we explained it was our first visit !

Summary: The ice cream, croissant, lemonade and ice tea, sandwiches were good.

customer service, lobster bisque and cleanliness were HORRIBLE. 🤮

I would say it was a waste of money, but there was a group of people there from Parkinson Association they explained they get a donation from what we spend...

Came in with my husband for some coffee and to stay and with for a while. While here, decided to grab the food as well. The big positive is the atmosphere as the place is clean, the back patio has a great view, and overall evening is comfortable with gentle soft music in the background. The not so positive... We ordered coffee and ice cream and they have us our ice cream and asked to wait for the coffee with a number. We finished our (very mediocre) ice cream before we realized that the coffee is just not coming at all. They simply forgot about us and forgot what we ordered. But as we were working on a project and stayed for a while, we gave them another chance and ordered food. Same story with the number and long wait, but this time we came up to ask and the order was there, on the counter, slowly getting cold (waiting on "mini croissants" as we were told). The food didn't disappoint you badly because the price is really reasonable, but to be honest, I've had better soup from store-bought cans and better sandwiches at a gas station. Not horrible, but extremely forgettable and bland. The staff was kind and friendly, but not very trained to do their job well. The place needs to be better organized and the chef could probably surprise customers with better tasting food even at this price. The cash register doesn't forget to ask for high tips. It would be wonderful if the staff would realize that there tips are paid from our hard-earned money and it would be great to earn those tips...
