JCPenney — Local services in Carson City

I have been going to this particular JCPenney since my daughter was well...a toddler...so well over (clear my throat) 20 years - WOW did I just date myself!! This is one of the original box stores in Carson City and yep it has out lasted just about everything here except the Raley's Grocery Store that is close by. I have always found what I wanted here from shoes, shoes, and more shoes - yep I have a shoe fetish (you will see plenty more yelp reviews to come on shoe stores to come and they are hidden all over my closet just ask my husband) to household items, work clothes, fun clothes, Levi's for the Hubby, trendy stuff for my Daughter, and unbelievable deals on 'GOLD' jewelry - another one of my things I like to hoard.

They have added a small Sephora to the center of the store which I LOVE the one at the Summit!! The staff is friendly and helpful with a smaller selection of the bigger version up at the Summit - nice for the folks in Carson City that just want to pop in here instead of driving up to the Summit to grab a few things.

I get INCREDIBLE coupon/discount DEALS with my credit card mailings but don't have to use my card - so that's a plus!! The sales associates are always helpful, friendly and the store is always well stocked and clean - if they don't have my size they will look it up in the computer, order it online and I can even get it for the sale price (if it is on sale) with free shipping directly to my house - NOW THAT'S A DEAL! Plus if I forget my coupon/discount deals at home I just ask the sales associate if they have one at the checkout or if they have a better one then mine and BOOM - I SAVE...

My husband and I have gone to JCPenny's sonce we were little with our grandmothers so needless to say- we love this Department Store 🥰 But today I got to have a "ME DAY". And one place I got to go to was one of my favorite places, JCPenny's. Right from the beginning it was fun and amazing. A bright and beautiful woman from the Beauty Department helped me out with glorious sale pitch of spend $50 get back $20. I WAS SOLD!! I looked around happily at the exceptional merchandise they had available. She recommended these awesome "PIXI Hello Kitty Anywhere Patches" OMG!! I cannot wait to try them 😍 Then when I rang up my $68 balance she notified me that I had two $10 off rewards but only issued me one that way I would still qualify for my deal. That spoke volumes about how awesome she is at her job. I definitely did the survey and gave her a wonderful hype up review. 👏 After that I journeyed to the clothing section and found exceptional deals on beautiful clothes. This is a clean and well organised store with a friendly, knowledgeable staff and a lot of different products for sale. I am always impressed with their sales, particularly on clothing and housewares, even when it isn't any special time of the year, such as the holidays.

There is a wide variety of merchandise to peruse and the staff is happy to help if you require assistance from them, but they are not overly pushy about getting you to buy something.

They have decent prices even when they are not having any particular sale and offer rebates and coupons for shopping there. You can get rewards for normal purchases which add up if you shop there enough. There is plenty of parking out front and restrooms are clean and conveniently located.
