Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Carson City

I recently had a really frustrating experience at the Baskin Robbins in Carson City. I went through the drive-thru and asked for a layered sundae, but the staff member said a different order. When I corrected him and asked for clarification on the number of scoops, he replied in a condescending tone, "How many scoops, one two three, how many?" It was hard to hear, so I asked him to repeat himself, and then he cut me off and ordered me to go to the window. When I corrected him about the wrong order, he rolled his eyes and insisted I had ordered that. I explained I had asked for a layered chocolate chip sundae, and he closed the window before I could finish speaking, calling his coworker over. The coworker also had a nasty attitude and asked, "What do you want now then." I left because I didn't want to deal with such rude behavior. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this was just so unacceptable. They weren’t even busy, so I don’t understand why they acted that way. I'm going to start out this review with a devils advocate type of view point.

Being in retail/fast food myself I can see kinda where people are coming from working in a "busy" ice cream shop and feeling stressed.

But my husband and I wanted to be kids and go on an ice cream date... so we came into our local Baskin Robin's only to NOT be greeted by the employee of this store but also felt super rushed and not listened to when trying to order a Sunday and a 3 scoop cup.

I get being overwhelmed when busy but it's dead... its 11am and you're not doing anything so why not show some customer service pep?

On top of which I wasn't asked if I wanted extra toppings on my Sunday or if I wanted nuts on my Sunday or not. Which is NOT a good practice in this field considering the amount of nut allergies there is.

There was so much nuts on my Sunday I couldn't even enjoy it.

The experience and over all environment of this business was very sad.

I wouldn't recommend coming here if you're expecting a good experience. 🤷‍♀️

Ordered through doordash. I should have known better because the scoops are always very very small but this one took the cake! We ordered 2 banana splits and a 3 scope sundae. The doordash driver was trying call me and warn me that they were having trouble packing the order but he couldn't hear me due to an issue with the call. He had to message me instead. The food was all over the bag and I mean all over. He said he had to have them repack it 3 times and eventually even got the manager involved. He said she didn't care one bit. The poor man was mortified that he had to deliver our order in that condition. Imagine spending $40 and recieving a giant mess. Not to mention they made the sundae wrong. Nothing was edible. Had to fight doordash because there wasn't a receipt. Finally got the money back. NEVER AGAIN! THIS PLACE...
