I HATE having to leave this review as I have been a customer of Vapor Maven for YEARS and over the last 5 years between 4 or 5 of my local stores I have spent THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of dollars which at this point makes me sick to think about after the way I was treated. A few months back I called this store 3 times between 8:50am and 9am thinking they opened at 8 when they actually opened at 9am, and needing to know if they had what I needed before I had to be at work and didn’t want to drive all the way over there if they didn’t have it. Well the worker, Christine was furious that I called before they opened and made a huge awkward deal over it even though I apologized, she was very hateful about it and I hadn’t been back when she was working since. Well I went in today and it was her and I just decided I would be super polite as that’s who I am ANYWAYS. Immediately after asking her about what I needed she let me know she remembered me by rolling her eyes and reluctantly leading me to the product. I then asked her if I could mix and match for the BYGO deal because a week previous that’s what the other worker did for me. Christine rolled her eyes acting so annoyed that I would even ask and told me very hatefully I couldn’t mix and match. Finally I just very calmly and kindly asked “why are you being so hateful to me” at which point she rolled her eyes and walked away telling me to leave the store deciding to refuse service simply because I addressed the blatant disrespect, which felt like she wanted some kind of reaction anyways. I asked when the manager would be in and she let me know she was calling the police. It was the weirdest thing, I was in there no longer than two minutes and never refused to leave or said or did ANYTHING that warranted calling the police. I walked to the car and called corporate and while on the phone with them in my car the police showed up, went in and talked to her and had me trespassed. I cannot imagine any store owner watching that store footage of what happened, seeing how much money I have spent there and still having me trespassed rather than just letting the hateful worker with a chip on her shoulder go. I hope they do the right thing but if they do not I will not shop at any of the other vapor mavens ever again and will make it my mission to dissuade others, there are much kinder people to buy from. I came in two days ago and there was a younger guy his name I have learned is Mike. I told him I was looking for a better tank for my innokin adept mod and without even looking at my setup I was offering him to look over he walked away and brought back a GeekVape Zeus tank.
So assuming you know what you need to know in this business after he reassured me it was comparable and I bought it and got home you know this did not work.
Now had he not been so worried about the xbox the other job employee was hooking up or the taco bell nachos he was smacking on he would have been able to save me the headache I went through.
By the way he is the manager here. I called 30 min after I left this store and he didnt know if I could return it or not and had to call his manager and give me the green light to bring it back for a refund.
I didn't really want to deal with him after that wonderful experience so I waited till yesterday to take the tank back. Now when I got there a guy named Jacob was there. He was Empathetic, not to be confused with sympathetic. he listened to my complaint about Mike, Looked my mod over, asked me my price range on my possible mod upgrade. and found me a Freemax Gem that I decided to purchase to go with the Zeus Tank.

Read moreWhen we walked it, the lady at the register was yelling at the system (red flag 1). My boyfriend and I were looking for a specific product which was not there but ended up finding a different piece I very much wanted. She stated "I'll be right with you" as she checked the other couple out. As she came to help the previous couple said "sure glad I checked this before walking out because it's broken" (red flag 2). We then to go purchase the product we selected. She continues yelling at the system until it finally goes through and says "approved". She asks if I want a receipt and as I start to respond "no" she starts yelling again, says it did not go through in the system, picks up the phone and calls the manager. As she does this, I check my bank account and see the charge is already taken out of my account but she refuses to let me leave with the item and says my account will be refunded in 5 days and if it's not, to reach out to the warehouse, a phone number she would not give.
