Based off of the experience I've had here, it's difficult for me to understand how the reviews are so great. The screen on my Samsung Galaxy S8 cracked last week. I immediately called Bobby since he has the best ratings around. I left a voice message to call me back but got no response. I left another voice message a few hours later, still no response. I waited a full week and called again but still got the voice mail, so I decided to contact their other shop to see if Bobby was on vacation. They told me he was available and passed the phone to him. I explained the issue with my phone to him and he said he'll call me back in 20 minutes to let me know whether or not it can be fixed. That was 2 days ago. If he's unable to fix it, shouldn't he call me back to tell me that? The reviews here are so high that I'm starting to wonder if I'm wrong for expecting a call back. Am I the only person that is having an unfavorable experience? This is very bizarre, in my opinion.
Update: 5/11/2017 -This is in response to the owner Bobby's response below-
Bobby, itâs great to finally hear back from you, but itâs unfortunate that I had to leave a negative review to get a response. Itâs not my intention to take up too much of your time. All I needed to know was if the phone could be repaired. A simple yes or no would have sufficed, and I would have been on my way. I never implied that you had paid reviews. I never knew there was even such a thing. I was pointing out my confusion with what I felt was a negative experience in comparison to the other reviewers. To me they all seem absolutely genuine, hence the confusion. I kept analyzing myself, trying to figure out if I had done something wrong to warrant not receiving a response. That annoyed me, because instead of receiving a simple answer regarding my phone, I was doing a self analysis. I didnât come here for that. That was incredibly frustrating. Thank you for explaining that you are currently working alone. I understand that you cannot check your voice messages every day, but the two messages I left were from last Wednesday 5/3. When we spoke on 5/8 you explained that it might not currently be possible to fix the S8 screen but that youâll call me back in 20 minutes to let me know. After waiting 2 days for a response that was the straw that broke the camelâs back, since I already waited nearly a week for a response to my two voice messages. I understand now that you are working alone, but customers donât know about your personal situations when they come to you for service. All they know is that you provide a service and that they need your help. For anyone reading this, please understand that Bobby has a perfect record when it comes to customer service. It is not my goal to discredit him. He has earned that perfect record. As customers, it is our duty to write reviews in order to make companies always strive to provide the best customer service, and also to help other potential customers make informed decisions before choosing a service. I am changing my review to 5 stars and will continue to use Bobbyâs services for 2 reasons. First, he acknowledged his mistake. Accountability is rare these days, therefore it is valuable. Second, he has an excellent track record of customer service, and one mistake shouldnât tarnish that. Iâll continue to contact Bobby (via text of course) for all of my cell...
Read moreI woke up friday to find out I had slept on my phone and it had broken somehow (touchscreen didnt work). Guess I'm a Heavy Sleeper eh? The same afternoon I googled "Device repair" and this shop came up. What attracted me to this store was not its catchy name, its fancy storefront or even the location of the store, which was placed conveniently next to a cat adoption where I could gaze at cats for long period of time, but the impressively high reviews. I mean; 5 stars and 353 reviews?! Legendary.
Upon walking in I was immediately greeted by Bobby, the hero of this story, who discussed with me how to go about fixing the phone AND Less than 20 minutes later, he had laid out the options for me (very affordable for the phone in question might I add, a Samsung Galaxy S8) and given me a time frame for how long it would take to fix (Spoiler, very short).
No more than 3 days after I had given him my phone to look at, the touchscreen completely broken mind you, did I get a call from him telling me the phone was ready for repair. I went in the store at around 3:40pm-ish and got my phone back, EXPERTLY restored, screen arguably more responsive than before and looking more than brand new at 5:15pm. The work he does is quick and impeccable, with 9 whole years of experience and a multitude of excellent reviews under his belt this is no doubt the phone/device/microwave Repair shop you want to go to.
( My phone took 3 days to fix ONLY because he didnt have my parts present, so he had to order them and wait for them to arrive. No doubt each situation is different and I guarantee you'll walk out thinking "that was the fastest repair I've ever had". Quote me on that. You get Quality work, and Fast, for an affordable price! What is there to not like? )
TL-DR; Go here if the phrase "Quality work, Fast AND affordable" sounds good to you; My phone was fixed and handled by a man with 9 years of experience, 353 five star reviews and even more happy customers under his belt. I can guarantee you wont be disappointed when you walk out of his door

Read moreA couple of weeks ago I slipped on the ice and fell on my... phone. It shattered the screen of my LG Optimus Pro. I went to the AT&T store to buy a new phone (at $15.99 a month for 2 years,) but after standing around on the waiting list for an hour, I decided to see if there was anybody out there that could fix my phone. After all, I like my phone, and it worked fine, even if I could only barely see through all the cracks.
After a lot of searching, and reading horror stories about unscrupulous and bungling technicians at kiosks and other sketchy repair shops, I stumbled on these guys. At the very least, after reading the reviews, I knew I could trust them to tell me straight up if they could fix my phone or not, and what it would entail.
I gave them a call, and they told me I would have to bring it in for them to make a determination as to what they could do for me. I didn't really feel like driving to Cary just to have them look at the phone, but after thinking about it, it only makes sense that they would have to look at it.
So I brought it in, and despite being Chinese New Year, they were able to find and order the parts. The new screen cost $100, and the repair charge was a measly $35. Even if I had insurance on my phone, the repair would still have been $65 less than the deductible.
Their communication was excellent, and they kept me apprised of the situation when their main supplier failed to ship the part and they had to order another one from a different supplier.
When the part came in, I brought in the phone and they quickly went to work replacing the screen, no taking a number and waiting around to be waited on. I even had a great conversation with them about everything from local music to the Yankees.
I recommended them last night to my friend Skipper who has a broken screen on his Galaxy 5. It's great to know a repair shop that I can trust and recommend to friends and family. And being a local small business owner, I prefer giving my business to other local businesses.
Thanks for saving me...
