I am extremely upset with the service I received at this store. I spent hours trying on items, finding the right sizes, and separating what I wanted to purchase. Since I planned to check out other stores for prices, I told the staff to hold my items and clearly said I would be back by the end of the day.
The store’s own policy is to hold customer items until closing when requested. I even left my name and phone number, as required. Despite this, the representative put all of my items away and argued with me, claiming she was “under the impression” I would be back in a few minutes. This was unacceptable and directly against policy.
What made this worse was how I was treated. I honestly felt discriminated against because I speak Spanish. Did she assume I was not going to buy anything? Did she think I was just wasting time? That is not only offensive but completely unprofessional.
While Jessica, the manager, did apologize and try to make things right, the damage was already done. This was not about the money, it was about the time I invested and the way I was treated. Never again will I return to this store, which is unfortunate because I used to love it and was a loyal client.
The representative who disregarded the hold should learn and follow store policy, respect customers, and most importantly, not discriminate or profile people....
Read moreThe lady with short curly hair was extremely insulting. There were sweaters on a table and only two mannequins displaying two sweaters, while other sweaters were not on a mannequin. I wanted to see a design of one of the sweaters that was not on display and decided not to dig for my size to be courteous to the employees, and I grabbed the one on top. It was very obvious it wasn't my size, but nevertheless, I just wanted to see the design. The employee came up to me while I was looking at a sweater. She said, "Those run a little small, you may want a bigger size," while looking at my body size. Keep in mind that I am not a sensitive person. It was her snobby attitude and demeaning manner that fueled me. Being a good person that I am, I did not want to argue. I do want some form of punishment for this rude person. I recommend avoiding her if you go into the White House Black Market in Castle Rock outlet mall.

To be judged, dismissed, and treated as if I did not matter because I speak Spanish is extremely upsetting. Loyalty and trust mean nothing if this is how customers are treated. I walked in expecting the same great experience I have always had, and instead left feeling humiliated and furious.
