edit: went today 8/31 for a #9 no pickles. they gave me double pickles.
edit: havent been back since i wrote the review. we went back today. they forgot our extra order of fries and the bbq sauce four our brisket. it seems their operations havent improved yet.
Was so happy when this place opened up so We didnt have to go all the way down by the 1604 anymore. But, it hasnt been the best experience so far. Everyone for the most part has been relatively nice and polite. But they almost always screw up the order. They either forget something or mess something up. At first it was dry brisket with ends when we ask for no ends. Then it was pickles on the chicken sandwich, many times in a row. They started making the sandwhich right but forgetting the ranch, or the extra order of fries. So i started going inside instead of the drive-through to watch so i could remind them or catch it before leaving. I dont like checking the food in the car due to their excessive packaging process, so inside we go. Went a few days ago. I watched the young lady prepping the brisket touch her face and her hair then continue touching food without changing gloves. I told the manager. I told him not to worry about remaking it but he should say something. I didnt want to cause a lot of problems for anyone, But it should be addressed and fixed. We're cool no worries. And guess what, they forgot the extra fries again. I took the L, whatever.
Go back today, its been two days, ONLY TWO, and the guy right in front of me takes his hat off, brushes his hair off his forehead or from in front of his eye with the same hand, puts the hat back on, and then grabs the chicken cutlet with THE SAME HAND and puts it on the bun then uses the same hand to put the bun on. So i walked over to the manager and told him that id didnt wanna eat the food he just made me with that dirty glove, and he interrupted me and asked me what i ordered. I told him and he said aight and walked over and told the dude to change his gloves and remake it. That was that. Nothing else. No sorry, No youre right, no can i get you anything else, nothing from the MGR. And, nothing from the kid making the food.... He should be like 'hey my bad i wasnt thinking let me change these gloves and we'll get you taken care of im sorry about that!' Then toss in an extra rach, or say you put a few extra fries in there even if you didnt. Just something to be like 'my bad, i care' .. but no... Then i watch the kid make it and make the order wrong so i had to tell him there wasnt supposed to be pickles on that sandwhich. And then had to remind him that there were 3 orders of fries not two, because he was about to pack everything up with no fries. All the while the dude is smirking and chuckling to himself like he was telling himself jokes . I get it. Hes probabyl imagining shoving the frenchfries down my throat and screaming out ''worldstar'' or something lmfao. I would be too if I were him. But dont be mad at me dawg, youre the one making peoples food with dirty hair oil and sweat ahh gloves.
IMO, The management needs to be fired / replaced because theyre obviously not holding their staff to the standards of Bill Millers, or just basic food handling and food safety guidelines.
Once it was brought to the Managers attention, there should have been shift meetings and a printout that theyre forced to read and sign that goes over changing your gloves any time you touch something that isnt the food. Hair, Hat, Face, Arms, Shoelaces, Mop, Broom, Bucket, Money, Anything thats touched the floor, trash, trash can, trash bag, etc.
The food always tastes good, whatever you end up with. And the kids are generally pretty well mannered which I appreciate. Kind service goes a long way. But the management has zero personal skills and theyre failing the business by not upholding quality standards.
And yeah, like they all mentioned previously, it takes FOREVER to get your food in the drivethrough. Inside isnt AS bad but it still...
Read morePlaced my order in the drive through. Got half my order. Walked in to have it fixed, no bad attitude and ms. Ma’am at the register has this look like GREAT here we go.. I smiled like you have nothing to worry about. Explained it was the wrong order or missing pecan pie and poor boy. She walked back and she no only the poor boy is missing then proceeded to tell me to go over there they’ll give it to me. Went over there and received an instant apology and she gave me back the bag.. proceeded to tell her my pecan pie was missing as well.. got the look of cluelessness or like I was lying.. she went grabbed it, put it at the top of the window and walked off rude apologizing again. Basically they were very rude with me over a mess up they did. Which really is no biggy. Fine I’m late to work. But the way they’re attitudes were set up! Lit a fire in me this morning! Then I open my bag up and everything is smushed. Taco tortillas not fully...
Read moreDifferent family members and I have all gone on separate occasions but the theme remains the same. Never been inside, but the drive thru seems to be only run by teenagers with no training, no effort, and no idea what they’re doing. We ask for a large fry, they say there’s no large fry even though it’s ON the menu. Told me my total was $189, after going back and forth on how it was $189, they finally said “oh no it’s $100 and 89 cents even though I reiterated “189 DOLLARS?” Multiple times and they said yes. We asked how much the bucket of tea was and I was told $10 and $1 refills even though online it says it’s $4.75. They don’t even try to give good service. I would recommend either finding a manager that knows how to train and manage young employees properly, or sending them across the street to Chick-Fil-A for a week so they can learn there. It’s a hot mess here and has been on multiple visits...
