TLDR: horrible location, staff needs better training, have the staff repeat back the order, and review your food.
Alright first let me start off saying how excited I was for this location to open. It is a little further for me versus 1604 & Potranco but I generally like coming to Steven's Ranch to do my shopping. First, it is an absolutely horrible location with terrible entry/exit. I had read TXDOT wouldn't approve an entry on 211 side. It is also under large power lines. I'll let you do your own research on that. Having been open for officially 6 days not counting Sunday and Thanksgiving we ventured there to grab a quick lunch. Immediately starting our order, Kyle who is wearing management attire messes up punching in the order and has a young man come over and help clear the screen. Now I have never worked for CFA but I have worked in food service and been around long enough to know typically you send your team to another up and running restaurant to train. Mistakes I would expect a new team member to make, not someone who has the button down manager/supervisor look going on. It explains what happens next. Total comes to $36 and I get him to scan my barcode for the free sandwich. Lowers it down to $31 and some change. I just thought basically two entrees and a grilled chicken patty has gotten expensive. Move around the building, receive our food, and there's an extra sandwich in the bag. Check the receipt and sure enough Kyle charged us for an extra grilled sandwich we didn't need. Because we paid for it and I know we will eventually eat it, we didn't go back and turn it in or ask for a refund. When I opened my sandwich, it was the first time I've ever discovered pickles outside and on the bottom of my plain/ spicy cfa sandwich. Not sure how that happened. Perhaps they forgot and just tossed two pickles in?
My wife came here earlier in the week and they messed up her order as well. She caught it while still there and asked for the correct items so they took the food back from her and when she received the bag back her sandwich she had asked for was deconstructed and toppings were placed in a separate small bag for some reason. CFA is considered a high bench mark of fast food customer service. It is sad that a new store is having such a...
Read moreI ordered via the app for pick up through the drive thru on 10/15/2025 and the wait for the mobile thru lane was longer than the regular drive through lane. I received two bags -one with my husband’s order and the other with a Cobb Salad. I just checked to see if the salad container was in there. When I arrived home, I realized I received the wrong protein on the salad. Everything else was correct. I called the restaurant to request a refund because I did not feel like dealing with the traffic to return to exchange it. I talked to a supervisor with the first name beginning in “C”. He was not the friendliest on the phone. He asked for my order number and confirmed my order. He advised he could give me a reward for the salad which I agreed with. He further advised it could take 24-48 hours to receive the reward. I waited almost 72 hours and had not received the reward. So, I took my time to return to the location on a Saturday with the incorrect salad. (I kept it in the refrigerator because I wasn’t certain he would follow through because of his attitude). The same guy was working the register when I entered the restaurant. I advised him that I spoke with him on Wednesday about getting the wrong salad and that I had not received a reward for the salad like he promised. Without saying anything to me, he got his phone out and scrolled through the phone. I told him I had the order number if he needed it. He found my order and processed a return. He did not say he was sorry for the inconvenience for having to return to the restaurant. He actually seemed bothered that he had to refund me the money. He only expressed sorrow when I asked for an apology. This was not the customer service I usually get from any...
Read moreFirst time visiting your store… I was confused by the layout of the parking lot, so I went through the drive-thru to ask about picking up an order for a customer… She explained how it worked… she said let me go check if I can get your order. She then told me just this one time they would do it ..to drive to the window. So I wait in line only to get up to the door to be told by a rude staff member that I would need to park and get down. Fine I would’ve done that to begin with but y’all told me to just go through the drive-thru….
Upon entering, she tells me if they let me this one time everyone will start doing it.. I get that
I tried to explain to her I would’ve parked and gotten down but they told me this one time they would do it. Instead of listening to me.. like she was on a power trip …told me no i have to park and come get it. Again ok I’m aware of that ..Trying to embarrass me in front of all your workers… 🙄 but why tell me to go through the drive-thru &waste my time getting the customers order to them ?? Why didn’t you say that in the beginning? no one was trying to con you, ma’am. Rude service …will not be accepting any more orders...
