Burger Boy — Restaurant in Castroville

First time trying Burger Boy, and I went through the drive-thru to grab the Working Man Combo with double meat. The experience was smooth, quick, and very convenient. Even though the drive-thru had a few cars ahead of me, the line moved at a good pace and my order was ready without a long wait.

The burger itself was excellent. The double meat patty was hearty and flavorful, cooked just right, and had that classic burger joint taste that feels fresh and satisfying. It was filling without being overly greasy, and the bun held together well. The large fries were served hot, crispy, and golden, exactly how fries should be. I also went with a sweet tea, and it was perfect—refreshing, smooth, and not overly sweet, but still with that classic Southern flavor.

The staff at the drive-thru window was polite, friendly, and got my order right the first time. Everything was packed neatly, and the food stayed warm until I got home. For a first visit, I’d say Burger Boy really impressed me with both the quality of the food and the service.

This was my first time trying Burger Boy! Visiting SA from Orlando, FL, I must say this is one of the best fast food restaurants. From the cleanliness, prompt service, and quality of the food, Burger Boy you left a mark on me. I got the working man combo added grilled jalapeño with loaded fries, the burger was delicious and fresh off the grill, the fries were crispy and cooked perfectly! There was a customer waiting for a shake before me, I went to the restroom and came back, only to find a strawberry shake waiting for my return. I guess he heard it was my first time and wanted to give me the shake. I really thought that was kind, but he was gone before I could even thank him. We went from feeling lazy and not wanting to cook this past Sunday to somehow finding out that we have a new Burger Boy location near us. It was a couple of cars in front of us, but Antonio shuffled through them pretty quickly. He greeted us with the most contagious and positive attitude. He was very attentive and quick on his feet even as we proceeded to give him an order with a lot of specifications. He correctly entered all of our information on the first go round. We ordered and finished paying, but I realized I forgot something. We had already driven off and were behind other cars headed up to the windows. We checked behind us and no other cars were there. We reached out to get Antonio’s attention, and he made his way over within in a heartbeat and said he could quickly just place a second order for us. & That he did.
