I mainly shop for food here, approximately weekly. It is managed by Ralph's, and has many similar products but many have lower price points than Ralph's in Palm Springs at Smoketree, which is where I shop there, My favorite items at Food for Less are many: 1) the house butter; 2) a dozen eggs--under $2; 3) a gallon of whole milk under $3 (I never understood why the 'Whole Foods' Markets all sell low fat milks, etc, therefore, technically, 'unwholesome' This was just a dumb joke, sorry!
Other things I like: their incredibly tasty in terms of the perfect texture and subtle flavors are the Lakeview brand, rice and tapioca, puddings. They are 69 cents at Ralph's, and two for a buck at F for L. They are one of a few, most wonderful foods Ive ever eaten, and I always buy a dozen or more, which run out quickly in a few days. If only I could buy this company. The meat section is not quite as good as at Ralphs, but there is an actual butcher counter, where I sometimes get ground sirloin, or, on special occasions, filet mignon, or fresh (fresh from frozen?) shrimp and other seafood.
A nice fruit and veg section, and a fair bakery
All in all, a very good store, open to midnite, with good values, although not a wholesale outlet (set up to sell large quantities at...

While most people would not think of the layout of the property, the owners should.
The parking is woefully weird. Large concrete medians, thinly painted parking stalls, concrete shopping cart stalls that don't fit shopping carts, and cracked/pitted/pot holed black makes the shopping center even worse.
While shopping carts from Food4Less are not the shopping centers problem, the owners should take into account that carts everywhere cause problems for the whole center.
While i do think this is a problem, it doesn't stop me from visiting certain stores.
It might someday be a problem if visitors are hurt by cracked asphalt or...
Read moreThere is a lot in this Marketplace. There are a lot of restaurants where you can eat including IHOP in a few Mexican and Salvadorian restaurants. Food 4 Less has been in the shopping center for as long as I've known and is always awesome! The Shell gas station recently became a mobile and the gas prices are a little bit High. Matter fact they are real high! The center does have a lot of customers but never seems too crowded to go shopping. There is a medical facility in the middle of it but it is terrible and very filthy. I do not recommend going there unless it's a last case scenario which I still probably wouldn't recommend. There's a nail shop at Subway and Ice Cream Parlor all in which...
