The five stars are for Anthony who was holding down the concessions and ticket selling.
Iām in the neighborhood because of work for the next couple days , and I stumbled upon this theatre when I was on my way to the local Planet Fitness. I decided to delay my workout to catch a movie. Upon entering the main entrance, you can hear the sounds of some classic arcade games and are welcomed by concessions. When I asked what movies were playing, Anthony gave me a rundown of the movies playing soon, and I quickly decided on Donāt Look Up. Deciding on what to eat and drink, Anthony masterfully upsold me on their large popcorn, large soda, and Dibs (I havenāt had these in years). The auditorium itself was quite small, roughly 50-60 seats. There wasnāt anything playing on the screen until 15 minutes before showtime. Some of the seats still had trash on them, and there was a scratchy audio sound coming from one of the speakers. I hoped that the sound would go away once the movie started, but it lingered for a bit at the beginning, which was a bit distracting. The seats are actually pretty comfy and slightly recline back.
Iām just grateful that movie theatres are opening back up, and people can experience movies the way they should be. Although, this Regency Theatres can definitely improve on cleanliness and technical issues.
I hope you found this review helpful.

Yes, the tickets are cheap. But most of the movies playing are old and you can rent them on DVD or blu ray for a similar price. At least one of the screens is so old it's discoloured and should be replaced.
I went to see Furious 7 today. The screen was small, and as soon as the movie started there were rows of black lines running down most of the right side of the screen. When I went to talk to the staff I was told the film was scratched and would I like to see 'Hot Pursuit' which is digital?
Tell me, if you paid to see Furious 7, would you want to see Hot Pursuit instead?
When I asked if they thought that was acceptable they shrugged their shoulders and gave me a readmission ticket. Not that it's likely I'll ever go back. On my previous visit someone was shouting at the screen all the time. I say rent the disc, the price, quality and 'experience' is far superior. It's not worth the drive to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOut of everything... yes, yes I do like it, but it doesn't give out the individual experience that a regular movie theater would give. What i'm trying to say is the sound doesn't feel realistic, like they try making everyone hear exactly the same thing, which isn't like feeling the EXPLOSION HAPPENING RIGHT NEXT TO US IF YOUR CLOSE TO THE WALL like in Mary Pickford. So instead of that you hear everything happening infront of you... in ONE SPOT! I'm not saying that's bad, I'm just saying that the experience isn't full, and the screening is good... if you see it in the first 2 WEEKS! AFTER THAT IT'S SO DANG HORRIBLE! ALL THAT YOU SEE IS GREEN LINES BLOCKING YOUR VIEW! But I do like that your more prown to crying there for some reason, and the popcorn is GREAT! So ya, one thumbs up... and one thumbs...
