Gem. Hidden in the neighborhood. Almost overshadowed by Patriot Park and the baseball stadium on the other side of Date Palm. There's a SkatePark, basketball courts, picnic tables, plenty of shade, jungle gyms and more. I visited this park near dusk as it was starting to cool off and there were still plenty of people walking dogs, playing basketball and skating. My only complaint is that it is a little smaller than Panorama Park just a few minutes north. I would consider this a 'Big Kids Park' and recommend it if you have children that are a little older. I like the fact that the park isn't on any main roads. Today my son & I visited it because of the fun-o-rama event to celebrate California clean air day. Read moreThe skatepark ground is ridiculously slippery. Its difficult to get enough speed to hit many of the obstacles because your feet slide on the ground when trying to push. The park doesn't flow very well so you have to push a lot, which is very frustrating when your push leg just flys behind you on the glassy ground and your board goes no where.
