Frantz Diamonds — Local services in Cave Spring

May I begin by saying I highly, highly, recommend Frantz Diamonds, and please allow me to tell you why! My first and only experience, thus far, began when I walked into the showroom approximately 6-8 weeks ago carrying a ring I had already purchased elsewhere after an extended search. It was to be a special ring as a gift from my sweet husband for our 50th wedding anniversary. I really liked the ring but I didn’t “love it”. As I voiced my concerns to Sherry Frantz, the owner, she said she could make exactly what I wanted, quoted an affordable price, and seemed to truly understand what this ring would mean to me. It was quite obvious from our discussiont that she had an extensive knowledge of diamonds and the business of jewelry, and I sensed that she really cared about pleasing her customers. I left knowing that she was the right person to make my ring. I went back shortly thereafter to look at a couple of diamonds and choose my primary stone. Yes, the diamonds were quite beautiful, but it was Sherry who truly amazed me! She remembered everything I had said at what, I had thought, was a rather casual first meeting. At that moment I knew I had made a new friend! Sherry is not just in the business to make money…..first and foremost she truly cares about people and making them feel valued. Thank you, Sherry! I will never forget how you made me feel through this entire process. I could go on and on! I was so confident in Sherry that I asked her to use her expertise in making all further decisions regarding my ring, choosing and matching all of the diamonds, etc, so that I could be surprised at the final product. Needless to say, the ring is “BEYOND PERFECTION”! It was exactly, no, it was even BETTER than I could possibly have imaged or hoped for. If you must shop at this store, I recommend that you only purchase items that are in stock rather than having anything custom made or delivered. I custom ordered a piece for this Mother's Day, and was told by the salesperson that it would "definitely be in within 3-5 business days". Six business days later, I called to check on it and the same salesperson told me that the item hadn't even shipped to them yet. She said she asked if they would overnight it to have it in the store in time for Mother's Day, and to keep their word of 3-5 business days but was told no. She said the reason for the delay was that they had a large number of orders come in, causing the delay... as if one of the biggest jewelry purchasing holidays of the year came to them as a surprise. To nobody's surprise, the manufacturer said they would not overnight the item to get it to the store in time, leaving my 8 year old son to show a picture of the item to his mother for Mother's Day rather than the real thing. It is now not expected to arrive until the Tuesday after Mother's Day. We'll see. And since it was a custom order, it can not be cancelled or refunded. They get the money by the date promised, the customer gets nothing. Again, this is more on the manufacturer rather than the salesperson (Although she did call me by the wrong name twice in the same phone call), but be cautious and give yourself much more time in advance if custom ordering...

Disapointed.Had my engagement ring repaired because my prongs had worn off or were gone here in September 2023. My ring was originally bought at this location when it was Amrines. It looks good from the top even if the prongs are a little too high profile but if you look at the sides you can see where metal was dropped onto it to rebuild the prongs and not buffed flat to blend in with the existing prongs on the ring. No one will ever notice but me but the overall result is sloppy. Its not worth the time or stress of taking it back and not having my ring while they fix it. The people in the store are wonderful but the repair was not worth the price. I miss Amrines and am only giving a 3 because the staff at the location was so nice and i would feel comfortable making a purchase here. Where ever they send your jewelry for repairs is just obviously...
